I first saw this product reviewed on “the build show”. Looks easy enough to install and appears quite effective.
Now considering we are dealing with cracks between every ICF build block, shouldn’t we apply the crack sealer to literally every seam? Seems like a good idea at least below grade.
You mention that the poly wall in an ideal case will never have to deal with water. Which makes me think that a wrap around covered porch but perhaps even a deck should keep most water away from the wall. Essentially even leaving the French drain dry.
ICF and poly wall are my products of choice for my future cabin build.

Should the arroyo board be protected with something before backfill?

This is some serious water proofing.

Should the membrane be used above grade all the way up, or could blue 2300 or 2400 be used above grade or is it not recommended for ICF? If it is also good, is there a cost difference to consider? Thanks

Is this stuff termite resistant if used above grade on a slab on grade situation?

What’s the cost difference between the BuildBlock brand system that is basically the same and the poly wall system?

This seems like total overkill, especially considering most ICF is closed cell foam

Its all completely pointless, the expanded polystyrene is impervious to water the concrete is impervious to water and the inner polystyrene as well. When do you see them putting this crap on the inside of a swimming pool?!

What a pain. Why not just use the spray on system, attach the dimple board and you're done....

@Mr. Sunshine I'm not saying don't do waterproofing but there's another system of Polywall that is easier to apply.
Why go through more hassle to achieve the same result? Does this system have more benefits?

There’s a huge price difference. This method is about a 4th of the cost as their spray
