    Man, been fighting with my ls swap with 4l60e not shifting. Then i got it to shift in 1st and 2nd and 3rd is gone. Great, thing worked in the truck i took it out of too.

      @CCAutoWorks didnt open it up. Have everything from the same truck, ecu, harness, trans and tcase. Perhaps vss plugged into the wrong sensor? There are 2 on the back of tcase with same plug I assumed they are the same but further research shows they may be different .

    Good going little brother! Yeah, transmissions are so finicky you really have to know what you're doing or the smallest little bs thing can take it out, it doesn't matter what brand it is.

    • @CCAutoWorks
      @CCAutoWorks  Год назад +1

      Your right that's for sure I had checked it on the first build and it looked fine and tested good but I guess it wasn't ready for that added pressure

    Hey bud, how y'all doing? I ordered a one wire alternator because the intermittent grinding noise I made that video about turned out to be the alternator. But while I was shopping for alternators I saw Speedway Motors has disk brake kits for 1gen mustangs that go right on the drum brake spindles. This is something new to me. I was wondering if you know anybody that's used to these or has used them yourself. Relatively cheap $435. Seems really cheap. Can't be any worse than front drums right 🤣?
    And by the way excellent work in this video, Little Brother for the win!!!!

    • @CCAutoWorks
      @CCAutoWorks  Год назад +1

      The 67/68 gt 500 front disk brakes we use go straight on the drum spindles there like $650 so 435 sounds like a good deal

    • @BPattB
      @BPattB Год назад

      @@CCAutoWorks right on. The fact the GT500 disk brakes fit on drum brake spindles makes me wonder if all the factory disks brakes do and when CJ pony parts tells you you got to buy a spindle they're full of s***

    • @CCAutoWorks
      @CCAutoWorks  Год назад

      @@BPattB we had factory disk brakes on the cast back but they where shot so we bought the gt 500 front disk and they would not fit the factory disk brakes spindle we had to buy drum spindles for the gt 500 to work

    What does it mean when your 4L60E won't shift from 2nd to 3rd but only sometimes? Never slips and no codes.

      @CCAutoWorks  4 месяца назад +1

      I don't know a lot about them but I have had one do that same thing I just put some Lucas transmission conditioner in mine and it fixed it but it could be the shift solenoid

    • @user-zu4gd5uf5h
      @user-zu4gd5uf5h Месяц назад +1

      @@typicalbryan0220 - I ended up using the parts cannon approach. Changed out every shift solenoid and went with a Corvette servo, boost valve and pinless accumulator to firm up shifts. One of those things fixed it and now the trans shifts like that of a sports car.. LoL! I like it though and my MPGs improved.

    • @CCAutoWorks

      There is a lot of upgrades for the 4l60e zpak clutch set, Sonnex smart shell or the beast or monster shell, shift kit, Corvette servo or billet servo, boost valve, harden input/output shaft, pinless accumulators for forward,1-2,3-4, 5 pinon planetaries to name just a few
