You guys could have taken this and made just yet another Katana but with a green tint, but you went the extra mile to make this a unique build so great job there. Instead of yet ANOTHER Katana like some certain comments are asking though, why not something different like Corvo's Folding Blade, or the Dragonslayer Spear from Dark Souls (or better yet another weapon from Bloodborne, even if its a year out now. So many of those trick weapons would be amazing to see brought to life, it'd be a shame to just stop at the plain jane Saw Cleaver.). Maybe after the work on this, just take the plunge and attempt to create the Moonlight Greatsword from ALL the Soulsborne games. Always looking forward to another Historical build too if that ever happens. Maybe even another Shield. There's some amazing shield designs out there in the land of geekdom.
Kiyosuki Any Bloodborne or Souls weapon is welcome. I'd love to see these guys make the Kirkhammer, or just the Silver Sword from the Kirkhammer and Ludwig's Holy Blade.

Because their weapons aren't historically accurate (and often aren't even that functional). Cutting fruit and glass doesn't show how effective the weapons are.
you try to cut the tatami mats they use i dare you also they have done plenty of historic builds and saying most of their blades are not functional is very inaccurate as the only swords that aren't functional are the buster sword Zangetsu the gods of war swords and the elusidator. Most of their builds are actually very functional with the exception of these few listed above and if the fruits and glass aren't enough for you then maybe you should watch them cutting the cut test dumies they use or the bamboo tatami mats
they don't seem to usually cut tatami mats, and most of their weapons actually AREN'T functional. I watch a lot of videos about actual historical weapons and although I don't have the experience those youtubers have, I know enough to know that most of the weapons these guys make are not functional. I don't doubt that they CAN make functional weapons. But the things they make based on video games just aren't. There's a lot more that goes into whether a weapon is functional than just whether it's too big or not; for example, how the balance is. If the proportions of the weight of the blade and the hilt are off (which lots of video game weapons are) the sword can't handle well enough. I'm not saying it's bad that the weapons aren't functional, by the way. That's just not their purpose. They're just meant to look cool, and to cut fruits (to look cool). They're not an accurate way to measure whether a weapon is historically accurate or functional. For example, altering the structure of Genji's sword to add lights, and also the extra details on the hilt, means it functions differently from a normal katana. When this thing cuts through a properly-made gambeson over ballistic gel with a wooden dowel in it, or some sort of similar setup that's more realistic than fruit and such, then I'll believe it's functional.
It's nice to see that they didn't just make the sword but Also the shurikens and actually told us about the origin story of genji for those Who didn't know
You should do a medieval challenge. Only hand beveling allowed, no plasma cutting, only what would be available in the medieval times, maybe make a Knights sword

Would have to be one of the Dark Souls versions because the Bloodborne version is literally impossible, in the cutscene when Ludwig picks it up, it is a gateway to the cosmos, you can see stars, galaxies etc. in the blade.

catindabox 334 well without damage nullification for the whole team instead of just yourself you're missing like half the job of a tank. Roadhog is the only tank without a barrier or something that eats damage for your team, he just has really good self sustain with the healing and some crowd control with the hook. it makes him a lot more of a DPS than a proper tank and it's the reason I never pick him when I'm the only tank on the team. TL;DR this team is all damage and no tank or support

Daniel Šušuk please watch the videos of those two hammers. What do you even mean with right materials? They also did not use the right materials for genjis sword did they? Also the hammers are a hollow "steel box" which then gets "decorated" so it looks the same at the end. Sure it would not be possible to make a massive hammer completely made out of steel, but the reason is not the one you would think: they could easily make one hammer completely made out of the materials, but the problem is no one can wield it. Reinhardt would also not be able to use it without his suit, so where is your problem?
Think you guys could make the soul calibur and soul edge swords? It would be interesting to see if Siegfried's soul calibur sword from SC4 and the Siegfried's SC2 soul edge sword would be possible to make!
tbh i would like if they would do one of those creative builds, where they could either pick soul caliber or soul edge as their base. and then craft their own blade (since the blades change form depending on the wielder)

LoganSoulsBorne4 well since they tend to only make one weapon per franchise, the saw cleaver they made a while back has covered the bloodborne spot.

catindabox 334 well without damage nullification for the whole team instead of just yourself you're missing like half the job of a tank. Roadhog is the only tank without a barrier or something that eats damage for your team, he just has really good self sustain with the healing and some crowd control with the hook. it makes him a lot more of a DPS than a proper tank and it's the reason I never pick him when I'm the only tank on the team.
TL;DR this team is all damage and no tank or support

Also the hammers are a hollow "steel box" which then gets "decorated" so it looks the same at the end. Sure it would not be possible to make a massive hammer completely made out of steel, but the reason is not the one you would think: they could easily make one hammer completely made out of the materials, but the problem is no one can wield it. Reinhardt would also not be able to use it without his suit, so where is your problem?
