I like to think he sees me watching this episode and is pumping his fist up in Heaven.
now my friend the Ordo Hereticus here, What do you think the aquila is ? Even within the lore of Warhammer the Palatine Aquila is refered to as the double headed eagle of the emperor. Nah but in all seriousness, most of them propably never read the books, played the games or build models of them, its just fair for them to use the translations of latin words.
Even if it would have been, the german Reichsadler was a derivitive from the roman one. As the the 3. Reich understood itself as the successor of the Heiliges Römisches Reiches deutscher Nationen (the holy roman empire of german nation). I was firstly officially indtoduced by Baberossa who was imperator of the Gergman-Roman empire 1155.
Aquilas are different form eagles. They have some measurement difference , and the most important thing is that aquilas are superior hunters. Also all the symbols with aquilas come from the Roman Empire. Even Romania kept the symbol.

Entire comment section: ok cool, but bad cus *insert lore*
As it should be
I think it's bad because it's just a redesign of the outside of a chainsaw. "Real" chainswords cut through armour. This has problems cutting wood.
@@enjamessimpson Proper use of the quotation marks, but then you ignore their implication.
You sound unfamiliar with 40k fans.
@@ZesPak I'm not the one calling it chainsword though.

The emperor even tried to ban religion. And look how that turned out for him...

This episode makes me think of my old friend, Carlos. He got me into playing Warhammer 40k, the tabletop game, back when we were in Jr High. He was just getting into the early Warhammer 40k games when he was tragically killed in a car accident almost twelve years ago. I like to think he sees me watching this episode and is pumping his fist up in Heaven.
Thank you that is very kind of you to say and I am happy you have enjoyed what we made !
Thank you for making this awesome and gorgeous piece. Please keep up the hard work, I have a few ideas of my own I shall suggest on your Twitter!
May he find protection in His light. The Emperor Protects.

Chainsword with pullstart? HERESY!
Honestly though, great work everybody!
We tossed around Ideas on how to start it without but time constraints kinda made us keep that part but at least we made the handle bronze skulls :)
Bill Collison you only went wrong by not being superhuman space marines in order to wield it ;) great build!
Thank you

Monster hunter silver rathalos longsword. Also that sword is a work of Art!
Or the black long sword (the one you need hermitaurs for) Its been a while since I played the game but I ended up getting that one maxed out.
or any monster hunter item would be sick
Agreed.
Better yet what about the gore magala's longsword or greatsword.
True. It would also be cool making the usurpers bolicer from MH4U
ITS NOT AN EAGLE, ITS THE AQUILA!!!!!!
nah but in all seriousness, i started smiling like a psycho when i saw those teeth spinning.
now my friend the Ordo Hereticus here, What do you think the aquila is ?
Even within the lore of Warhammer the Palatine Aquila is refered to as the double headed eagle of the emperor.
Nah but in all seriousness, most of them propably never read the books, played the games or build models of them, its just fair for them to use the translations of latin words.
Aquila is a term taken not from WH40k but from Roman Empire because Empire of the humanity is based on it.
and all this time i thought it was based on nazi germany 0_o
Even if it would have been, the german Reichsadler was a derivitive from the roman one. As the the 3. Reich understood itself as the successor of the Heiliges Römisches Reiches deutscher Nationen (the holy roman empire of german nation). I was firstly officially indtoduced by Baberossa who was imperator of the Gergman-Roman empire 1155.
Aquilas are different form eagles.
They have some measurement difference , and the most important thing is that aquilas are superior hunters.
Also all the symbols with aquilas come from the Roman Empire.
Even Romania kept the symbol.
It’s funny to see some of the people so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about this and then have others that know nothing about it. Honestly I cringed every time I hear the chainsword referred to as a chainsaw sword or a warhammer... in a good way. At least it wasn’t a Bolter, because that would be HERESY!!!
you mean gyrojet rifle?
You mean a Nerf Strife?
you mean the 12.7×108mm high explosive gyrojet?
In the Name of the Holy Emperor, thank you, been waiting for your guys (and girls) to do a 40k build since I started watching. But a Blood Angel's chainsword? I never thought I would ever see a working one, let alone one as beautiful.
And congrats on hitting episode 100, here's to another 100 =D

Thank you, Reino O.D. I will take it from here.
Hold, it the Emperor has decreed that these members of the cult mechanicam simply have mispoken. They are loyal members of the Imperium of man, they are loyal
correct me if i'm wrong but is that from 'if the emperor had a text-to-speech device'?
This has to be the First kind of "Blade" That's been Tempered by Toaster Oven!
Almost every custom knifemaker started out tempering blades in toaster ovens or household ovens, some still do. All mine are tempered this way. Why do you think these guys even did it? It's an age old knifemakers technique.
Plus, this wasnt the first time a toaster oven was used to temper something on Man At Arms. The first time was the CS:GO knifemaking challenge, when Matt used one to temper his butterfly knife blade.
I started out tempering with a small blowtorch. Getting a toaster oven was an upgrade.

Hey
the emperor is alive the chaos gods are so screwed now
Blood Angels? Good choice.
Imperial Fists would have been a more iconic choice in my opinion
Cryfa Sytighega whats more iconic than sanguinius dying for the god emperor. ..
Cryfa Sytighega You mean Space Wolves
Bloody magpies is what they are. Lion for life. c;
No love for Grey Knights? Okay.
The fact they even picked blood angels makes this even better.
So apparently the Adeptus Mechanicus has a hard time making these. 3rd millennium technology. Hmm...
Sanguinius they can make them easily. Its power swords they struggle with.
Matthew Lloyd Ah, that makes a lot more sense.
Ser Ravinger Bare clearly it's a Blood Angel lost to the Black Rage
See, the problem isn't making a chainsaw into a sword, it's making a chain-sword that won't jam when you try to cut into flesh and such that can still be carried by normal humans.
Also adamantium, i guess.
I clicked it the second I saw it. Truly awesome build. I think that would have to be one of the scariest looking weapons ever built. Just insane... Imagine that coming at you.
Captain Harlock's Gravity Saber.
Absolutely!!!
Oh Please Yes!!!!!!

Chainsword is the most iconic, but a powersword is my favorite.
If only they could make THAT
***** Get out of here, heretic fleshbag.
Your correct Capt. Angelos has Godsplitter and very much enjoys killing heretics and deamons with it.
They could make it, but obviously it wouldn't have any of the capabilities that it has in the lore. It would basically be a regular sword, though cool looking.
