On the flip side, there are also lots of planets - millions of them, that haven’t been caught up in the war that’s been raging for over 10,000 years. They are not even aware of it because of the vast distances. The first they hear about it, will be a large ship entering their atmosphere and within seconds most of society is either dead, enslaved, forced to sign up to fight against other civilisations, turned into a biological mass of jelly and forced to merge into an insect like alien hive, or sent off world to be used in the most horrific ways possible

@@jamess.2491 Guilleman is one of the few sane and reasonable beings in the entire Imperium, but his attachment to Order will always hold him back; he'd never consider that sometimes you have to break the rules in order to achieve an important goal. I doubt any other single individual could do things better (Big E included, since a lot of the current problems are the result of his own mistakes and stubbornness), but certainly unscrewing the screwed status of the Imperium will require solutions that Guilleman would never even consider, not even if El'Jonson suggested them. Like cutting some sort of deal with the Eldar, the Tau, and even the Nekrons to deal with the truly anathematic foes (Tyranids, Orks, and at least Khorne and Slaanesh if not the entirety of Chaos, much as it pains me to say it). They can figure out what to do about each other AFTER the overwhelming unstoppable hordes of pure senseless destruction have been dealt with...but that would be heresy slash against tradition slash not sufficiently Greater Good, so none of them will ever think of trying it, and the whole story will end with Tyranids eating everything because they're the only faction that actually has everything they need to accomplish the goal they're committed to.

Which i imagine to be a very tricky thing since it thrives off of violence and war and all the emotions that come with it.

Me and my bro just got into this game and its lore! The game so far is fantastic and the campaign just goes ballistic! We’re diving head first on the angel of death difficulty(the highest difficulty) and in my opinion makes the game even more worth it and completing each level more satisfying. A must have!

The sheer depth and scale of the lore will blow your mind, and you will become so addicted to it, that it will never, ever leave you. I’m 32 years into it. I am almost finished with The End and the Death Volume III Grim Dark, SciFi Fantasy, horror, humor(Space Wolves)War, on land, in the void, an epic shit ton of War.. oh yeah, and the galaxy is in flames🔥 the story, setting, a list of Dramatis Personae puts GRR Martin to shame 😮throughout 89 novels/novellas, plus a legions worth of supplemental (high quality) audiobooks, short stories, the art😊 I didnt know who or what GW was about, Warhammer , The Black Library, 30k, 40k.. i read Brothers of the Snake, great "what the hell is a Space Marine", read the first 3 books in the Gaunts Ghosts series.. i wanted more.. and sure enough, Book 1 Horus Rising.. one of my favorite quotes among many, in the End, so eloquently says so much about who & what the future holds with two words.. "shields up"

Fighting Necrons planetside is pointless. You gotta focus on their fleet. Their ships don’t fare well against ballistic attacks either.

@@dans4319 start by reading up/watch ing videos about the Horus Heresy - it’s set about 10,000 years before the contemporary events, and explains why the human empire tore itself apart at its height and civilisation is crumbling under the weight of 10,000 years of continuous wars. Now, bear in mind that the full history stretches back 60 million years, but I’d honestly start with the Horus Heresy.

If you really want a solid slightly painless 40k education... start with Book 1 by Dan Abnett called Horus Rising... I am almost finished with The End and the Death Volume III Grim Dark, SciFi Fantasy, horror, humor(Space Wolves)War, on land, in the void, an epic shit ton of War.. oh yeah, and the galaxy is in flames🔥 the story, setting, a list of Dramatis Personae puts GRR Martin to shame 😮throughout 89 novels/novellas, plus a legions worth of supplemental (high quality) audiobooks, short stories, the art😊 I didnt know who or what GW was about, Warhammer , The Black Library, 30k, 40k.. i read Brothers of the Snake, great "what the hell is a Space Marine", read the first 3 books in the Gaunts Ghosts series.. i wanted more.. and sure enough, Book 1 Horus Rising.. one of my favorite quotes among many, in the End, so eloquently says so much about who & what the future holds with two words.. "shields up"
@@Jillking45 yes I’ve been suggesting people start with the Horus Heresy. I know we can always go back 60 million years to the War in Heaven but they will get to that bit once they realise that the walking robot skeletons who turn people into green ash need some explanation 🤣

12:08 that's an insult to the intelligence of the Astartes, going melee against an attack vehicle, and even worse agains one with claws or pincers , that whole animation of the Bloody angels is so hard to watch, a nonsense after another.😢
That was a blood raven, sir and his tactic - though ill fated - made perfect sense. You can’t hotwire a vehicle at range.
@Thyinternet my bad, I saw red and dying ones, so it must be the bloody angels and their bad luck ☹️ . It was a suicide tackle, so. Because he knew there was no way to overcome that, instead he could have tried to flank it, but anyway, that whole animation is about them dying and dying 😢
