People can argue all they want. I agree with you. Not just because of her flawless recordings. Others have done those kinds of recordings. Right after recording the Bodyguard soundtrack her voice was starting to show signs of damage from smoking. In live performances after 1993 she was able to immediately orchestrate her voice during a vocal failure. You hear one at 1:12. Having control to pull out of that or use it as a key change is masterful. This might sound silly but I get so emotional watching her live performances knowing what she was dealing with personally and hearing the toll life was taking on her voice. To ruin a gift like that I can't imagine the stress that made her do all the vices to deal with it while at the same time knowing it was damaging that voice.

She was born in 92
That horn that broke in at 4:40 brought that song home. This was such a beautiful performance of this song, always so elegant and graceful.
Simplesmente a melhor cantora de todos os tempos.
Cantava, mas a inveja do BobBestaFera a destruiu
Extremamente eu disse, EXTREMAMENTE LENDÁRIA ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🇧🇷
God this woman's voice was a fucking powerhouse!! Straight gift from God. ❤️ In the words of the late Ms. Whitney Houston "There won't be another me!" Whitney's Mariah's and Celine's voices WILL NEVER be touchable. The legendary vocal trinity could never be recreated.

We agree with Lin, there are no other NEW natural Artists like this today. We can not name one. Gone are the days of Aretha, Whitney, Luther are the greats. Thank God we had an opportunity to experience Whitney living during our lifetime. We are fortunate to still have Patti Labelle, Mariah Carey, Deion Warwick and Gladys Knight.
