I enjoyed watching your 5 videos very much. My husband and I visited Taipei where our daughter lives and works. She married a wonderful Taiwanese man. It is a great place to visit. We found it to be energetic and exciting. The food is full of awesome spices. We definitely look forward to visiting again and exploring the whole island. Thanks for sharing your awesome vacation!

The long version of the video went out brilliantly. All the five parts were an absolute joy to watch.
My only reservation about it is that there isnt any anymore.
    Get some more holidays =)
    Thank you guys.

You guys are right this is a great place, I have lived here for six years. And most likely I will be hear a 4 or 5 more years. So many things I wish I could have explained to you. Seeing your questions, but knowing that it is a little late to give you and answer.. I live in Chunghua county not far from sun moon lake. But you do need to make another trip here so you can see the southern end of Taiwan it is great and will worth it.

Enjoyed your Taiwan series very much! thank you. I even didn't know some places you've visited. Have got to visit these places someday. ha! By the way, watching your videos reminds me of the life in the UK with my wife a couple of years ago. I studied there and my wife worked there. We visited many nearby countries and cities during the period of time. Quite enjoyed the cultural difference (and had lots of sausage and mash. ha). Hope you guys enjoy your stay in Japan. Blessings from Taiwan.

I think these are the best traveling videos I've ever seen! Thank you sharing Taiwan to people who’ve probably never heard of it. I think Thailand is best for vacation but Taiwan is best for living. Maybe like you said, Taiwan is a little ciaos but it’s safer than anywhere for foreigners. There are many American English teachers who used to living in Japan now living and teaching in Taiwan, maybe you can think about it?

I just finished watching your 5 episodes (which took me over 2 hours sitting in front of my laptop), and you are lucky that the peanuts noodle(actually it's sesame dressing) you had in 5th part is quite good and famous, my office is just around that block and I usually have that noodle for lunch. Hope you'll visit Taiwan soon again and spend some time at the southern side (or "on" the southern side?), you will enjoy more beaches and mountains there. Thanks for sharing these interesting videos.

Kyde and Eric, I really like your summary of Taiwan- a introductory country of Asia. Taiwanese people are really friendly as well as the environment. As you both don't know Mandarin/Taiwanese, you can still travel with a motorbike to the Mt. Ho-huan (part of Taroko National Park). If you have chance, please make a trip to southern Taiwan and other islands, such as Kinmen, Matsu, Penghu and green island. I strongly recommend Kinmen if you like historic construction and culture.

Ahaha at about 9 minutes in, talking about the view, "not amazing, but it's nice." Bro, you're looking out at mountains with little picturesque villages and I know my vision kinda sucks anymore but I'd kinda be in awe. Then again I'm in awe of the roadside scenery here and my (Irish) roommates think I'm nuts, so who knows. Rewatching some of your journeys is getting me through Grad School Hell, so thanks!
