I just started watching the video - cutting the corners with a rotary cutter got me a bit nervous but when I saw that yiu didn’t go into the actual corner on both edges and then went back and finished the corner with scissors I thought to myself - yes!!! That I can do!!! I love my Square Up rulers and have many (maybe all?) sizes!!!! This is an adorable basket and I can see it in so many different fabrics plus would make a nice addition to my quilt guild’s participation in a Craft Fair next November! Thank you so much!!! I’ll make the first one for myself!!

Could you topstitch those creases so they stay? The ones you pressed down the sides?
Yes you can topstitch the creases so they stay. You can also use fusible Bosal foam for your basket. Thanks for your comments! - Abby
