I don't sew but I love watching your videos Angie. My Mom was a quilter and I miss watching her and going to Quilt shows with her. Thanks for sharing Angie 🙂
Try sewing small projects. So many excellent projects. Start small. This is a good starter. Look up mug rugs. Little larger than a coaster, then sew pot holder then baby quilt. I love this project❤ been sewing since 10 years old. I'm in my 60's Thank you for inspiring new & long time crafters. Great gift ❣️with clips
I found your channel by accident after watching something else. I love your baskets. And I want to make some for myself. You are a great teacher. Love the size variations. Enjoyed this very much.
SO EXCITED a new youtube specifically for your sewing! just wonderful new addition to your teaching, encouraging, and inspiring us all to do more fun activities and enjoy life more! thanks for sharing your talentf with us. Teresa Sather in AZ
Angie - These are fantastic! I stopped counting how many times I have dropped my ear buds from beside my bed. Also how many times I have had to track my craft supplies that roll on my craft table like my pokey tool, or one of my markers or even a pencil. It is totally crazy & slows me down. These are perfect . Thank you so very much for sharing these with everyone . Your husband is very smart wanting one for his night stand as well. Not fun to look for items the hit the floor & some roll. Thanks you are the fabric Queen of bags, trays & more to come I am sure. 👏👏👏💕🌻
oh my gosh, I can't tell you how many times I've dropped my AirPods on the floor and they bounce under the bed. So happy I solved a problem!! Thanks Judy!
I made my first one-so easy with your instructions! I have a stack of 10” squares on the sewing desk staring at me. I used two of them and it was very satisfying.
I just started sewing about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. thank you for your videos on how to do the baskets. I am also a card maker and use Stampin Up and love your videos that you do with the product you are multitalented and I appreciate all your wonderful videos. May God bless you and keep you safe through this holiday season.
You make everything look so easy! Thank you for the inspiration. I need to make a small checkered pink basket. I sit a few baby items in the one that you gave to me & now my gifts don’t look as CUTE as they do in your basket…but I’m KEEPING my Angie basket! 😂💖🤍
Angie, what are ya doing to me, i was just making squares for the bag on the other video, now this pops up, i dont have enough room in my space to have 2 projects on the go, but watch me do it anyway LOL, thanks hun, am having a great time with all these new videos. ♥
I have to give these baskets a try. I am self taught on my sewing machine. ( just sew simple stuff). I am motivated to break out my machine again and sew your baskets and totes. Thanks for the videos, they are so helpful.
The easiest tutorial ever for a fabric tray/basket!!!! I made 3 tiny ones 8” x 10” and one long one 8” x 18” works great for my sewing desk! I also was able to use scraps (:
OMG just ❤️🤎💙💖❣️your fabric trays !!! A couple of years ago I found one of your baskets or bag !!! On your channel !!! Made a stack !!! Gave them for Valentine’s Day !!! Put gifts cards in them !!!! Boy you were a big hit !!! Everybody wanted to know where I bought them ???? I had to tell everyone whose pattern it was !!! I also, love the way you teach and your little tags you put on your bags !! Way too cute !!! I also love you camera angles I get a good look at what you are doing !!! You are VERY easy to follow !!! I also plan on making this fabric tray !!! Thank for caring and sharing !!! I can also, tell that you put a lot of love into your projects !!!! 👍🏿👏🏿👊🙌🏼🙏🏻❣️🎈😇😎💝👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
This is the very best! I’ve never worked with fusible fleece. Once these trays are finished, are they machine washable? And what size needle did you use? And you give a great tutorial! Well done!
So excited to make one of these trays! Also, with the blends markers I've been getting as host code gifts from ordering from you, these will come in very handy. Thank you for your video tutorial!
Hi, just found you. Love these little trays. Just getting back into sewing; I think I can make these. Thank you for the video and thank you for the pdf. I'll be back; take care.
Your explanation on how to make trays was clear and very easy to explain. Thank you. Just would like to know where Someone would get their labels made?

Do you have a video on doing a lined tote bag with a button closure?
I'm sorry I don't. I will add it to my list. Thanks!
Going to try and make one.
Have fun!!
What happens if we use both the thicker lining for both pieces?
It just makes it thicker.
Hello, Love the project. Can you please tell me where you get your lables.
Sure, I get them online at Dutch Label Shop. Thanks!
These are so cute! Where do you get the interfacing?
I get it at Joann's and I wait for a sale and buy a whole bolt.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial
You’re welcome 😊
I’m definitely going to try this! I’ve made some others but not a shallow one. Thanks! 🧡🍁🍂🎉
You're welcome!
These are awesome. How many different sizes can you make them in?
There's a lot because if you change the box corner size to a smaller size, you get a taller tray.
@@sewchicnscratch could the box size also be bigger? If so, how do I make the size of the whole tray bigger? Thank you
A fun useful project. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I’m looking forward to making these as gifts. Where do you order your labels?
I buy them online at the Dutch Label Shop.

What are the finished dimensions?
Love the tray and an looking forward to making several. Thanks so much!
The small Fabric Tray measures 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 2"
The rectangle Fabric Tray measures 4-1/2" x 7" x 2"
Thanks!

I was surprised when you didn’t do all four sides! So easy! Thank you! Love the music, too!
Glad you liked it!!
Great instructions! Thank You!!
Thank you!!
HI, Can you wash these boxes or would they go too soft?
Yes, you can wash them. Warm water, delicate cycle and when dry press it with starch.
where did you get the cute labels from
I bought them online at Dutch Label Shop.
Omgoodness I need to make one!!
You will love it!! it's so quick and easy!
Thank you for the class blessings
Great tutorial. Thank you 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Question. Why do you use a silicone mat on top of a wool pressing Matt
My guess is to protect the wool mat from the adhesive on the fusible web
I use it to make sure I don’t get any of the fusible fleece on wool mat or my heat press. If you’ve ever gotten any on your iron it’s not fun getting it off!
If you use cork with fabric for lining, do you need interfacing?
I'm sorry I don't know, I've never used cork. But, I will add it to my list.
I have used cork in purses and I would say no you do not
@@kathypurcell2481 Thank you!
The heat press is 50% off on Amazon today! Woohoo I ordered one:)
Yay!! You will love it!
Thank you.
I’m new to fusible interfacing. Is it fusible on both sides? 🤪
No, it is sticky (when ironed) only on one side. Otherwise it would stick to the ironing cloth.
They do make a double side fusible. And single side fusible. You can ask at the fabric store to make sure you are getting the one your want.
Can you an iron if you don’t have a cricket?
Yes, you can use a regular iron. I'm having issues with carpal tunnel and try to find ways to not add more stress to my hands/wrists.
Very nice good explanation.
Thank you!
Can you tell me what seam measurement for your seams?
All of them are 1/4" except for when one step. When watching this video, fast forward to 11:09 and that's where I use an 1/2 inch seam.
Good tutorial, thanks. 😊
You're welcome 😊
Thanks - love your trays - I subscribed ❤️😁🌹
Yay! Thank you!
Is it always 2 inches no matter your size
No, if you want the fabric tray to be taller you can use 1-1/2" or 1-3/4".
Great video. Very clear instructions. I think I could make this. Thanks for the idea of using a Cricut press.
You're very welcome!! It has truly has saved my hands, arms and shoulders!!
