Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. This is exactly what I need to organize my fabrics, and the added bonus to that is, once I make all the baskets, I will have less fabric to organize, hmmm, after all that, I might have to go fabric shopping.
Thank You so much for sharing your great instructions, and the very informative work sheet, and Your Talent with all of us.

Love love love. Reminds me of Nancy Z's Sewing with Rectangles and Squares programs and book. This is even simpler. I love fold flats for RV & camping supplies. I can fold them up yet use to carry back and forth and store between uses. And this style allows me to add handles in a variety of options doing so. If it's a shallower basket I can add D rings to the triangles on one side etc. That allows for a detachable handle or shoulder strap. Love simple yet useful projects. For those who need a machine cover for any of their sewing or serger machines not to mention die cutting and heat iron plates etc. You can apply this simple design for them too but lay them over the top as a cover. Add a bit of ribbon or webbing on the bottoms to have a pull off handle to grab off the machines when you are ready to use. So many possible uses. Thank you for such a fantasticly done tutorial. I'm going to send this link to a new sewer friend because she could use a little push to making things without a paper pattern. Thanks again.

Such precision the way you fold, press, and sew. It is a great design and a surprise it folds so flat. Also like that thr outer and lining are like one piece rather than 2 separate and fitting one inside the other. I don't remember seeing you box out the corners. Maybe it was all done with the folding. Remarkable. Thank you. There might be some organization in my future.

Oh, I can think of so many places where this can be used. Besides the sewing room, I'm thinking dresser drawers to corral socks and other small clothing items that seem to migrate out of their assigned space. It might work well for small embroidery projects but I would want to add a pocket to keep the little scissors and needle packs from sinking to the bottom. These would be such a cheerful addition in the kitchen to hold lightweight goods such as pudding or soup mixes even a biscuit basket for the table. Oh, how about a few small ones for a desk drawer to contain paperclips and tape that always seems to run off to a far corner. So many ideas...I don't think I'll run out of places to use these; good thing I have plenty of fabric bits. 😄

Hi Rosie, what a great pattern and another well-done video! Since this is a new release I wanted to make this comment here so you'd be sure to see it. On the subject of top stitching on a zipper installation on a purse or bag I wanted to thank you for the knowledge to not sew all the way to the edge of the fabric. I made two purses this week and used that method and "wow" it comes out so much better and cleaner (the zipper tabs). I hope I explained that so you know what I'm talking about. You always do such a great job on everything you sew! Thank you!

@@RosiesArtStudio You are very welcome! I made the box today and it's quite cute. I'm wondering if you have any ideas how to firm up the sides without compromising the ability to create the folds. For example, I could use foam, but it wouldn't let the fabric crease/fold well, be too bulky in the seams (particularly the bottom area) and it would be difficult to layer the folds at the bottom. Any thoughts?

I am glad to hear you are going to make the basket. I fold up to one yard for this size basket the same way I fold the fat quarters. You might want to make a bigger basket for fabric that is more than a yard. Thanks for watching!

    Hello,
I really appreciate your instructions and help with making the worksheets like you do. You have made at least one other which I've seen somewhere on your channel. But, It would be nice if there was a link to be able to print out your worksheets and sewing tips (IE: cutting the interfacing smaller because of not wanting any bulk) because I don't have a Facebook account. I appreciate your considering this if you will. Love your channel bunches. TYSM for sharing. 😻😉🥰
