Oh let's do some more cute projects together Bethany!! You always simplify so we can easily do it along with you or even on our own. I love that you include us in the fun parts that you enjoy - pretty fabrics, cutting corners with little scissors. A quality project already done!! thanks : )
Bethany I just love all the small's tutorial's you do. You are very talented and a great teacher. Thank you for your time and talents. Happy New Year to you and all at Shabby fabrics.
Thank you, Bethany! This is such a fun bag to make. I watched it about the same time as I was trying to organize my scraps, so made my own strips. Your tutorials are great as you give such good hints for constructing projects.
I agree WOW. Great job. I do love watching and listening to you. I love the tutorial and I am going to make a set of 4. You are such an amazing teacher.
Thank you so much Beth, I really really enjoyed watching you create this gorgeous and beautiful pouch. I really really love ❤️ it. It’s really really cute and adorable too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I have three little four year old granddaughters and have made them several lined cross body bags. This technique of lining the bad is fantastic! I will use this method to make more for them. Very well done! Thank you
I've now made 2 of these bags, the first one I made using jelly roll strips, and I put pockets inside, then I made another with a 10 1/2" x wig piece, and it turned out good, I also put pockets on the inside of it, oh yes, I also put a loop strap on it, I'm now thinking of making another, only I will make it 12" wide (or several more), after all, we can't have to many purses. These are the quickest, easiest purses I have ever made, I love them. I love the fact that you can make them your own, bigger, smaller, straps, pockets, etc.
I love this. I’m going to try sizing down a little and use as a bag for my iPhone & Apple Watch chargers. This technique is great - thank you for doing this tutorial ❤
I have decided to make quite a number of things this year. Not just quilts. This will be a cute and easy start! I wonder how many projects I will complete. Aloha! 💕💕
I absolutely love this. What a great bag. I have some random jelly roll strips left over. I think I will cut them down and make one, or two. Thank you for this. I really enjoyed watching this.
I was watching this, and at first I was wondering, what is she doing, then I started thinking, I bet one side is tucked into the other. I have made so many purses, and bags over the years, in so many styles, but this is the most clever, and easiest bag I have ever seen. Thank You for sharing this.

Really cute project and you explained everything so well. I'm wondering if a cam snap would work for that or if it's going to be too thick. I might just make a buttonhole and put a button on it cuz I just am not a fan of the hook and loop.
We're glad this project inspires you! We do think a larger sized cam snap would work for this project instead of the velcro or hook/clasp. 💖 -Michelle
