I just made it as a beginner, it was an emotional roller coaster for me but the satisfaction at the end was so worth it! I’m planning on making these as Christmas presents for all the wonderful women in my little family
Just a quick tip for anyone making these cute bags... I made 2 of the boxy bags with a polyester zipper and realized the top and bottom of the boxy bag were not the same width. After analyzing the directions, video and comments more closely, I realized 2 important details. Ms. RosieBea uses a tad wider zipper and more importantly she does not sew on the zipper close to the teeth, which results in a wider top, to match the width of the bottom. These 2 important details will alter the top width of the bag. I wish this would have been highlighted in the video and directions better, but now you know if you too have mis-matched widths.
That’s a very good point, the width of zip I used was stated in the instructions. But I should have tested it with other zips, being my first sewing pattern I just didn’t think! Thank you for sharing your advice 💞
So then, should I go back and take a larger seam allowance on the bottoms of the bag to make this seam (catching the zipper ends) equal: top & bottom? @@MsRosieBea
Wow this was a BEAST for a pure beginner like myself but that’s probably my fault for starting at a quilted bag LOL. I will say though that I just finished it after 5 hours and it looks AMAZING. I love the design and will definitely be making again
I totally fell in love with these yesterday so I bought the bundle with these, the drawstring tote, the little rectangle pouches, and then the round duffel bags pattern. Super excited to start making them!
I LOVE the toiletry bags. I’ve made the small and tall bags for my mother this Christmas. She loves them. This is such a nice shape and a very easy pattern. Thank you for the video.
Can’t wait for my pattern. I made one from another gals instructions, but had to use bias for inside lining…it’s still cute but I think this way may be better.❤
Rosiee, do a vlog soon. I miss seing you go about your day, i still remember Vlogmas and loved it! You have such a beautiful and unique style. 7 years ago I went ginger and you were one of the reasons 😃. Well now everyone thinks it’s my natural hair colour😂 Now if you shall excuse me I will rewatch all your videos ❤️ Your videos make me calm and happy 🌷
OMG!!! I Followed you from the begging and then I kinda went off RUclips and today I gound out you have sewing patterns!! how cool Rosie! Keep it up!!! ❤
This is probably the most soothing and most satisfying tutorial ever but the comments are just so 🥲 do people not read the description? That’s literally where majority of the information is given. READ people or maybe watch the tutorial first before asking the questions she already answered
Loved this sewing video. Please do more soon!!! I love your work. Please post more regularly..once every couple of months is disappointing. Your videos are great. Thank you so much.
Are you using a different foot / fabric for the quilting? I am very much a beginner to sewing and didn't know if that made a difference at all. I know quilting is different from sewing but wasn't sure if it were the case for this.
😊❤🙏🏻🥺Hey my love, can I ask you to send me the pdf on Instagram because I am from Algeria and the cost is very high. Please, please, if you don't want it, it's okay, no problem.
Querida Rosi te pido el gran favor que me digas con qué hilo coses , para que te queden tan lindos tus modelos te agradecería en gran manera tu apoyo. ❤❤❤desde España
Hi Rosie I love your tutorials and I really love the fabric it reminds me of the vintage Laura Ashley prints; please can you tell me where I can buy that fabric.
Hi Rosie, I love the fabric you used. Can you please tell me what it is? I bought the zippers you recommended and plan to make 5 sets of the three bags. I think your video is quite detailed and very easy to follow. I look forward to following your coming projects and videos. Blessings, Mona
Hi! I’m planning on making my bridesmaids each one of these toiletry bags for the morning of my wedding - can I ask where you get your interfacing from / your wadding with the fusable side please?
Hello!! I’m new to sewing and have been wondering: when we cut the quilted fabric (15.33min) are the stitches not prone to undoing while sewing and after when we use the bags? Or does the sewing machine secure them?
Hi. Im looking at lengthening the boxy bag slightly (maybe an inch) would this just be a matter of extending the pattern in the middle and just going up 1inch in the zip as well. Thank you.
Hi Rosie. Just got your patterns and I started on the boxy bag but can you give me some pointers on how to get the side to match up. For some reason your sides seem to match up so well. Top and bottom but for me the top of the bag does not match the bottom when I’m getting ready to sew the side seams. I’ll take any suggestions you can give.
Please can you let me know what the metal thing is to the side of your needle? I think you called it a leg? I’m a total beginner - can you recommend any little gadgets to ensure I can keep a straight sewing line please? Thanks x
Is the top of the boxed toiletry bag meant to be slimmer than the bottom? I am currently sewing and due to the different sizes on top and bottom on pattern, it seems that way?
I love these bags but I have 1 issue with trying to find the correct size for zippers. They don’t come 9.8 they come in 10 not half sizes. What should I do
These are beautiful! I just bought a sewing machine and have started quilting. This is a nice size project for me. I will be downloading! Where did you get your labels? Can I have them made somewhere ? Thanks so much!!
Could you make a pattern on the quilted floral jacket you made long time ago? That jacket is so beautiful and I wish I had one. 😭Please, please pleasee...
Hi, one question, sorry I am a begginer! Do you reverse stich at the begging and end when quilting? Also, when you cut it after quilted won't it just fell apart? Because you didnt reverse it? Thank you!!
question about the pattern, i know the top is skinnier than the bottom purposely. later in the video when you’re sewing the tag I noticed it no longer seems there’s a difference and everything lines up nicely but on mine there still is a size difference at that point. was it cut in the video? did i miss something?

Great video! You have done a great job! Where do I get the pattern?
Why didn't you cut off the excess after you boxed the corners? It. Would reduce bulk in the corners.
creative!
Hi I love your work. What kind of wadding you use btw? How is the thickness of it?
Querida niña podrías decirme que marca de hilo usas par coser mil gracias desde España❤
Hi. Im looking at lengthening the boxy bag slightly (maybe an inch) would this just be a matter of extending the pattern in the middle and just going up 1inch in the zip as well. Thank you.

Hello Rosie, I juste bought the patterns 👏 one question please, both corners must be sew at 5cm from the corner? Thank you
Can you show how you place the pieces in order to do the second half of the zipper? I am a little confused on what order to layer the fabric!
What kind of fabrics do you use for the outer and inner Ms Rosie? Thanks
Hi I loved the video, but are there any smaller measurements I could do??
You can print the pattern out at a smaller size
Do you sell these patterns already printed? I’d like to avoid printing and taping.
Hi Rosie, love your videos! Just wondering what type of industrial machine you have? 🥰
Please can you let me know what the metal thing is to the side of your needle? I think you called it a leg? I’m a total beginner - can you recommend any little gadgets to ensure I can keep a straight sewing line please? Thanks x

So cute, I love to make toiletry bags too, always interesting to see someone else's method. Could you share where you got your quilting foot?

Hiya, the size difference is to give space for the added width the zip gives. If you use the same width zip then it should all line up. It's written in the materials section i believe of the instruction booklet. Let me know if you need any more help! x
Super cute! Do you mind if I ask... what program did you use to make your own pattern with?
