  • Fisher INFINIUM Lifetime ink Space Pen. Writes upside down, over grease and underwater. I have used the regular Fisher space pen (Not the INFINIUM but the same technology) to take notes while scuba diving.
The Infinium was designed to be extra small in the pocket but ti feel like a full sized pen when posted.
    Measurements:
    Capped: 4 1/4"
    Uncapped: 4 3/16"
    Posted: 5 9/16"
    Section: .43"
    Inside cap: .44"
Body at the widest: .43" *
    Weight:
Filling mechanism: Not refillable but they will replace it for the original owner if it runs out of ink in your lifetime. So, be sure and register your purchase with Fischer.
*.46" in feel because the cap is extra long and feels like part of the barrel. This is part iof how they make such a small pen feel large in the hand.

I have a Fisher clutch.I love the clip on this one and the durability of the ink supply.

They say 80 years for the average user.. but I wonder how long for someone like me that writes a lot every day.

I use it as an emergency pen as I find that my Pelikan M 1000 is a great general writing pen.

Do you know what kind of cartridge came with the pen, is it a fine point, medium point or a bold point ?
I've always used Fisher space pens for over 20 years, but the medium cartridge that come with the pens are a bit sloppy, so I changed to a fine point and the results are great. No more smuggling.

I am not sure I think it was a fine. Which seemed smart since the broader the point the faster you would use the ink.

It is an expensive pen. I never cared for it for drawing. If I use a ball point for drawing I like the plain Bick. It is much easier to get light lines with. My friend Larry Lebby used them to great effect.

Mine works great even in very cold weather. I have had several different Fischer pens in the past. I had one refill that was not good.
