Just picked minds up in “lime Green” and I love it!
After literally weeks of research and hair splitting yesterday Wednesday late night the 12th of April 2023 I managed to finally buy it off Amazon UK as the 256 GB version doesn't sell or wasn't available locally
I badly needed an upgrade as my last devices were snagged all the way back in early January 2017!
Though I think you did a near splendid work on the video this phone at £400 isn't exactly "cheap" or next to nothing as you put it
On another note I'd have appreciated if the gradient on sound was expanded to use a SPL meter and different metrics of music were applied

That a cool device to have in the mid range. I think the Mediatek chip was a good addition and even its camera section became better.

A34 is a huge upgrade when compared to A33 in terms of Performance...And also there should be a slight improvement in Camera output because of the Mediatek Processor....But when compared to A54's Camera , especially the exposure control ; i think A54 handles it well in that area...

Completely agree! This is a basic requirement IMO, and we’ve had it since smartphones were rolled out! Not everyone wants RF frequencies inside their ears.

You can use USB C connected headphones for phones like this, you can even use them with phones that even has a headphone jack so it's still not a problem enjoying stuff on the move out there.
Just bought it after I broke my A41, and feels like a pretty big upgrade in smoothness, fingerprint scanner, and sound quality.

Same, I had an A41 for 3 years but it started slowing down and I dropped it 2 months ago. The screen went black/started flashing weirdly. Now I want to buy the A34. Have you had any issues with the phone? I want to buy it for casual use/playing bgmi and it seems like the best value option.

I strongly reccommend you buy the A34. The phones are literally the same in every aspect, or the A34 is even slightly better (even the processor still performs better cuz its better optimized), as well as having bigger screen, but the A54 has a better camera. So if you buy the A54 then for 100 extra dollars you get

Yes, the benchmark scores show the A54 processor as slightly better, but everyone knows how trash the exynos processors really are. The mediatek dimensity performs better, which is proved by the fact that it lags less and provides 1 tier higher max graphics/fps in games like pubg.

Love, love this phone coming from a flip 3 and a note 20 ultra. I'm very impressed considering I just bought it brand new for £250 it does everything a phone needs, and more like the 1000 nit screen which I will be using with a drone and the battery after a week lasts me 3 days don't think ill ever buy a flagship phone again lol edit also it has a sd slot of up to 1tb which many phones are now ditching apparently to save costs as its cheaper to install internal memory apparently 🤷♂️

It is missing the 5g band n71 for Tmobile , which is a mid range 5g band . I think it only runs tmobile 5g on one band , n41. I just bought one. Fingers crossed.

I just sold my A33,5g and upgraded it for the A34,5g not much difference tbh my new phone is in silver it changes colour in the sun. Is the upgrade worth it? Yes if you can buy it cheap

Strange to hear the A33 was popular in the US ( I assume ), because in Hungary where I'm at, I haven't seen many of them. At most 20 in the store where I work at.
To be fair this makes sense, when this was new, it was more expensive than the A52s which was still being sold brand new in the same stores. lol
I think the A34 is a huge upgrade compared to the A33 and even the A53 (except for cameras), and it's finally as powerful as the A52s or maybe even more.
We never got the A52s in the US - and I actually never even made a video on it myself - but that phone is probably the most popular A series worldwide. The A3x have been popular in the US for a while, but they sort of flip-flop year after year with whether or not they’re “officially” available

Here in my country samsung includes chargers in all phones. A34 got a 15w charger and the s23 ultra got the 25w charger on the box

Is it a good phone
Not much phones at this price point can give u IP67 and SD card slot. Yeah.. others give u headphone jack, but there are a lot of wireless buds so its not big of a problem. Notch? Nah, Iphone have island on their phone, so its not a problem.

I, as a person who owns a Huawei Y9 Prime phone, will the Samsung A34 be a good update or will I feel that it is less than my Huawei phone
Maybe A54 would be better. I was so disappointed by Samsung when I changed from my Huawei Y9 prime to the Samsung galaxy A32. But that was in 2021, you might have a different experience.

That depends on what you use it for. If you use it to watch movies, RUclips, and normal daily tasks then absolutely not.
If you use it to play games tho you will feel the difference. As the system takes about 2.5/3 gigs of ram that would mean you've got 3gb free. And normally a heavy game would take 2gb ram. Pretty much 6gb ram will do the job. But if you plan on running games and other applications together then go for 8gb ram

una pregunta para los que esten usando este a34 5g , cuanto tiempo les dura al estar viendo videos , es decir cuantas horas calculan que se baje del 85% al 20% viendo netflix telegram de corrido, a mi me dura un aproximado de 5-7 horas , pense que por ser de 5000mah me duraria por lo menos 10 horas en uso full peliculas .
es posible estas usando el ''120'' Hz modo? y tambien es dependiente en el brillo y el sonido nivel. por ejemplo, si use menos sonido y brillo y el 60Hz modo creo que el tiempo de les dura para viendo videos aumentara (perdon mi espanol si es no perfecto, no soy espanol, hablo ingles y arabic pero estudio espanol en mi insti y mi tiempo libre

for those of you who are confused about the difference between a34 and 54, lemme break it down for you.
The performance of both is the same, it's just that the A34 has a wide screen which is more suitable for gaming and watching while the A54 has a better camera and a compact screen. If you care more about the performance of the A34, it is much better, meaning the price is cheaper but the specs are the same, but if the camera is also important, the A54 is much more worth it.

@@eg8049 I'm sorry to say, but it is bloatware. It means that there is unnecessary preloaded software and that it isn't a clean system out of the box. It (thankfully) doesn't mean that you can't remove said software. Despite the bloatware, I bought the phone anyway and I already removed the bloatware. I'm happy with the phone.
