FSD is a subscription of like $200 a month or an absurd $12,000 one time payment
That is… insane. Computation requirement or not
@@WesJH the really crazy part is that the payment (at least last I checked) follows the car to the new owner. Meaning if you purchased the Model s for example back at its high price of around $135k + paid for the FSD, when selling it you would get a fraction of the price you paid. (Model s costs around $95k new now) and the fsd doesn’t sell for $12k more in the used market either
@@Chris-bz9pg I'd love to know the breakdown of cost. Cloud computing is expensive, and I gotta imagine the required workload for FSD has to be pretty hefty. If Elon's intent is to get everyone into FSD for safety, he can't be price gouging. I'll have to do some digging.
