Finally! A knowledgeable mechanic who is also a knowledgeable Audio/Video technician as well. This is the best video on this subject that I have seen. Super!

I have a 2010 Ford Ranger 2.3L which appears to have a plastic intake manifold (maybe its made of some sort of carbon material...I'm not sure) but I have so much more confidence after watching your presentation covering the type of manifold for a 1993-1997 six-cylinder engine. Your presentation was excellent in every respect, where you completed everything in a logical step-by-step fashion with the clearest video camera work so a DIYer like myself could see what you were doing every step of the way, with the matching description of the parts of the engine like the EGR (the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve) and so on. I'm not sure removing all the necessary lines and switching gears as well as the bolts will be as easy a process as on the vehicle you were working on but once I get the manifold off it should be a straight forward process because there is only on injector fuel rail to deal with on the driver side and all of the spark plugs are easy to access on the passenger side of the manifold. I also know what additional tools, parts like the intake manifold gasket, the dielectric grease and some cleaning sprays that I need to buy to complete the job. Thank you for doing such a superb job of filming this video and explaining everything in a manner that is easily understood by an armature like me. I just wish I got to undertake this job in your garage with you as my coach. All the best. Thanks from William Finseth, Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.
Does anyone have any idea where I could get these fuel rails? I need both for a 1991 Ranger XLT with the 3.0 V6 and I can't find them for the life of me. Help?! Thanks for the video!!
My 97 Ranger v6 motor is completely different. My plenum is plastic, and I can't remove the fuel injectors unless I remove the valve covers and a bunch of other crap.

Thanks for this. My 92 is a bit different but this was still the most helpful video available by a wide margin
Auto mechanic's school without the tuition. Awesome video!

Hoy Moly perfect example of why you should tape off those tubes! that shrader valve cap almost went into the next dimension.
Thank you for this video! Just to make sure, when you took the injector off, was that a twisting motion or pulling? It was hard for me to tell.
Great video, very thorough
