Ironically, playing with the fidget toys would have most likely focused your attention forwards, and discouraged you from turning around, so playing with the toys was the optimal strategy
In the actual show, Will realises that they’re all things that turn around (like the one on the right being pulled in a circle) and that one of them was a “turn”ip, so the toys were clues in themselves
No, the optimal strategy was to do nothing. She figured it out right from the start but didn‘t classify ”turning around“ as something. I know that this is semantics, but playing with the toys would have been one of the correct choices but it would have been lightyears away from the best or even a good strategy.

It's the sort of task whereby after the VT Greg would do a mocking impression of Alex giggling at the deviousness stemming from the discrepancy in the information available to the contestants and to the Taskmaster's assistant.

You are literally the only reason because of whom I got recommended so many shorts of Taskmaster AU and eventually I watched the second season and season 9 of Taskmaster UK. While they are quite funny you are still the funniest out of all of them.
This short, is brilliant. You're interested in the premise, but then the arc around the jacket, makes you know the wit of the people involved. Freaking telling a story, in this bit of time, but not using much of the base material. Efficient as all get out. Then it starts and you go "nice jacket". Yeah for me I would either leave the room to not do anything associated with the room , or last to leave the room. Either way would have me turning back anyways.
Did you know Alex is the boss? It was his idea for the show, And to have Greg be the host. So if Alex thought it would be funny, he'd make Greg make him eat it. 😂 What a beautiful concept
Alex’s deadpan fly on the wall character will never not be the best form of the assistant in this show. This contestant is having so much chit chat with him

She really wanted that jacket.
Sleeved and jacket-pilled
I really did 😔
Should have taken the jacket... 😅
@@nomnomjenny For what it's worth I think you could pull it off with ease

After failing that task I would have stayed in the room and used all the things while wearing the jacket out of spite
I would've HAD to play with all of them after I lost! And the jacket would mysteriously disappear at the end of the day...
😂
all of jennys shorts are so addictive i might actually watch the show now

Are the NZ hosts really called Alex and Greg.. Can they do anything original lmao
poor jenny just wanted the jacket

"Why were you wearing the jacket?"

She was right stand there and do nothing. But she just had a Twist and Turn

Hahaha she has to be doing this on purpose I swear. I mean there's liking bright yellow and then there's regular theming around it xD
Do you want to wear my jacket?
"Noeeeeeeer"❤

I thought it would be to sit down. Lol

OMG this one was diabolical!
I love task master and I'm so excited to finally watch someone on it that I'm already familiar with

I would've read the note and immediately froze and stood as still and silent as possible for as long as possible
The way she say “narrruu”❤😂 so cute
The same reason anyone wears a jacket inside.... I think I look cool
Lol, meanwhile i automatically was thinking, "screw the challenge, I'm a bus driver (starts turning that wheel like I'm driving)."
"All the information is on the task"
The task:
Whelp, now I get to play with the fidgetty toys.
"I'm gonna wear my cool jacket."
"No, bro, it might be distracting."
"Aww, that won't happen."
“NAAOUUURRRR I’m not gonna do anything!”

i saw that you put the host's ipad in a boat and pushed it down the lake
These shorts are WAY more entertaining than the actual show!!!
This short was boring as F!. No blame on Jenny, but on the taskmaster writers
I wouldn't have even spoken after reading the prompt, just in case “it” meant speaking
Tom Cashman has become my very definition of a "Cheeky chapie", so mischievous
Last person could be the first person 😂.
Love how Taskmaster is taking over the world.
In love with her lmao
I'd have lost this challenge so quickly - I would have been looking around everywhere trying to figure out what not to do
I have no idea why she became one of my favorite characters. Very wholesome? No idea. Good content.
I was expecting more of a: dont overthink it.
As soon as she walked in "Nice jacket". Like lady, just ask him where he bought it.
She really had the right idea just the wrong thing to turn around 😂😂
Putting objects in a table when the whole plot is to not turn around has to be the most Australian twist ever
Just “stand around?”
Stand? yes.
Around? no.
my first thought was that the right solution is literally just this:
"don't do it. ok." and then leave.
turns out i was wrong.
Bruhh didn't care about anything but the jacket he was wearing
"You wouldn't " was so sincere lol
I would’ve laid down to take a nap😭😭
This is funny! I wish the task was more obscure though. Like actually touching an item.
She was hyper-focused on the jacket since she walked in.
That dude is well cast in the Alex Horne role. Exact same vibes.
But in his own way. Like he is being himself and not trying to copy Alex.
Oh wow, you were on task master. Nice!
This makes me want to watch the other versions of taskmaster
You are the someone trying to take the jacket.
I would've failed instantly because my first instinctive thought was to turn around & sit down 😂
"Naur im naut gaunna do ehnythin"
I thought for a few seconds, and would have yelled "I will not doubt myself!" then touch everything.
“Nooooo don’t dooo iiiiitttttt” I’m a virgin 😂

Don't do it Jenny! (Forest Gump voice)

Sometimes, Taskmaster is utterly brilliant.
This isn't one of those times.
I like that little head tilt at the beginning 🙃
I would have played with everything 😂
So technically if only one person does, they win, so she could win by having turned around.
Anyone else that would flip the table?
Jenny: I can just stand around and do nothing
Jacket guy: Pretty close for a first guess 😂😂😂
she said stand around
@@ErieRosewood True! It was the Mandela effect of knowing the rule i guess, anyway pretty close for a first guess :)
