Okay, but the fact that she KEPT GOING and EVENTUALLY figured it out, after so many hours of frustration is genuinely impressive!!
And got fourth place from it.
The editing of Tom saying “No” in various stretching poses is just great
it's actually pretty impressive how many she gets without getting one wrong. and then she more than makes up for it!
I love that we get to see Tom stretching because he has been standing for so long

I stand by that this is the best taskmaster moment of all time for any version of the show

What a great part. Both Tom and Danielle had me laughing so hard. Tom's reactions made this so much more that just a frustrating attempt by Danielle (who is just so charismatic!). Seeing people fail the task and seeing them laugh at themselves is one of the best parts. Great to see another Taskmaster success down under!
Will someone PLEASE give Danielle a hug? Because she deserves it after this!
We've all in spots where we were just missing an obvious solution that just wouldn't come to us. And then we started thinking too hard and got even further away from the simple solution. But we were probably lucky enough to have not had it happen onTV.
I was at the taping for this and could not stop thinking about this task. I'd never heard of Danielle and fell in love in that moment

This was absolutely hilarious. I was in tears at this part. Poor Danielle!! You're a great Taskmaster's assistant, keep it up. I can't wait more episodes (and series!) of Taskmaster AU. Moments like these were just too good.

The best thing about this is Danielle Walker is genuinely good at the format. She just got stuck in a mental rut.

It almost was, the apparently offered Danielle to end the shoot and finish the next day but she refused.
The entire attempt took about 2 hours
It says a lot about you that your favorite task was one where you had to stand in place for over an hour and a half!
Absolutely loving the show, by the way! This is shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons of all time!

@@GT_Walker I'm definitely tempted by a lot of them; there's just so many good ones! Honestly, I can't imagine Ben would have done that badly. I've done puzzles with Ben before, and the alphabet is used so often, I'm sure he would have thought of it fairly quickly. I like the concept of the passwords, maybe we'll do this task but with a different password rule... I have a few ideas already

Maybe you can get Alex to post an uncut version of her entire attempt, onto the main channel. No reason to just have you, the crew, and Danielle be the only people to have experienced that. LOL
It's funny how at this point TMAU is only 2 series' in and each series' has had one of the biggest breakdowns in all of english TM, can't wait for series 3s breakdown.
Based on who is in that season, it'll probably be either Rhys Nicolson or Mel Buttle.
Can't wait for Season 2. Aaron Chen is going to be brilliant.

I felt so bad for poor Danielle! I felt frustrated the other week when I couldn’t guess who I was at Celebrity Head (James Cagney, I had no idea) I can only imagine how she felt.
Just as good as the British one which is high praise indeed.
I hope you're aloud to deviate more from subservient assistant persona Alex Horne made in the future. It works for him and Paul, but you are the best when you have back and forth with the contestants along side the Taskmaster
I suspect they will need to keep some element of that (it is the Taskmaster and his Assistant, after all), but they can probably change things up a bit within the relationship so long as their is a clear line of authority. Paul Williams and Jeremy Wells definitely have their own styles while staying within that relationship. In particular, Jeremy stopped trying to be abusive of Paul as that just isn't his style and it got much better. In addition, Paul seemed to stop trying so much for the stuff upper lip, unfazaeable butler style of Alex into more of an emotionless psychopath. And both improved a lot as those styles fit them better.
I do hope the Toms can find their own styles within the roles as they were very inconsistent in season one and I believe it was due to attempts to emulate Greg and Alex that didn't come naturally to them (in particular Tom Gleeson just comes across as too friendly and did not sell the domineering persona to me).
Out of all the NZ, Australia and UK series, this has to be the funniest and tortuous moment. (The first proper task aired [watermelon] is also very good) I missed the tears streaming out of Tom the first time through.
Hey Tom how long did it take Danielle? Btw I love task master Australia way more than task master Uk you guys are so much more funny.
It’s also super funny that there’s now two people that came from i’m a celebrity get me out of here season nine and also if you can please say to Pete I’m so sorry that he didn’t win i’m a Celebrity, get me out of here.
