In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

It's funny that I usually hate bullshiters irl, but she does it in a such a funny way and being aware of it and not just taking people for idiots make her so likable.

Judi's definitely becoming a highlight of this season! She reminds me of Guz Khan from season 12 but she's also individually so cute and enthusiastic 💕
Ed gamble noted that they are both great bullshitters, however Judi will absolutely never back down while Gus will laugh and eventually give in

My first thought after the first five minutes of the series was “has anyone ever seen Guz and Judi in the same room?”
The deadpan goes deep and they have a sort of veil they put behind their eyes while they bullshit Greg.

The person with the grandiosest character in this season is also the one who's the LEAST fussy about these interview rules. Fascinating, everyone else just bitched and got confused and Judi just BOSH! does it.

I'd never been a big fan of Judi despite seeing her in loads of things, but she's brilliant in this series. Much funnier than I'd realised before.

From her general demeanour (?) I guess she's been a force of nature her entire life - parents, teachers, mates trying to correct her on petty things like pronunciation flying left and right out of her way...
Is it specific words, Alex’s accent, the nature of the tasks, or some combination of those? I am an American trying to parse British language and culture cues.

Is it me or was Alex in a bad mood in this interview? He was bit rude/antagonistic to Judi a few times e.g when she was answering his question about going on walks he interrupts her saying "I've got a lot of questions..." Respect to Judi for taking it so well though!
It was a joke - Judi obviously played into it by talking loads and talking fast.

Just watch the last task of episode 4, before forming a positive opinion about her. She lost the plot and ruined the game for everyone. You could tell that everyone else was embarrassed. Unprofessional, ill-bred, self-absorbed, childish. I bet they wish they hadn’t hired her.

Not a fan. I'm finding this series an uncomfortable cringe fest with a really uneasy, unfunny atmosphere. For the first time ever, I'm not bothered if I watch an episode or not.
This has to be the worst series so far by a long way. Shame.
