In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. Приколы
"Have you written these questions?" Alex: *looks at clipboard* "uh, it doesn't say." Such a perfect Alex response haha.
A beautiful and perfect ad-lib.
He'd be absolutely infuriating to be around though. At least in the first few series he seemed genuinely interested in what the contestants did, and willing to help. Now it's just the endless "all the information is on the task" I find it a little grating. Still love the show though.
@@fredh1720 Nah, I get what you mean, but I feel like the classic "all the information's on the task" is more of a nudge telling contestants that there may be a potential loophole they may have found, and I find that pretty funny
@@fredh1720 No way. He's amazing and I would love to be around him. His sense of humor is my sense of humor...only obviously much better at actually being humorous.
And when she asks him if he's enjoyed his time on taskmaster or something like that, he has to look through the clipboard and check several pages before giving an answer.
"It doesn't say", what a delightfully ridiculous sort of man
"pedo meter" absolutely took me out 💀
Alex nearly broke in the seconds after that one :D
Even better was Alex silently shaking his head to the producer like "that's not making the TV edit".
Ardal - 358 steps
Bridget - 602 steps
Chris - 481 steps
Judi - 432 steps
Sophie - 619
Goal: 589 steps
Bridget won the task, followed by Sophie, then Chris, Judi and finally Ardal
Remembering _how_ competitive Bridget is, that is entirely amazing
@@LolTollhurst Remembering how annoyed she was in this task, it is amazing :)
^Ardlo
That depends whether any of them are disqualified for not matching Alex’s pace of keeping up a proper conversation, which Bridget should be.
I would say Bridget was more annoying than annoyed. Thanks @Marin.
0:37 Only Alex can be polite and hella awkward at the same time 😂
Seemed funny, letting the hair go was a must
have you ever heard of bob mortimer?
or Ivo Graham?
Heads of cabinet ministers was the best answer to that question
Was just about to comment the same thing! Genius.
Honestly can't think of any other acceptable answer now..
Or genitals.
totally unbeatable answer to that question
My first thought to that question was heads of someone, how the others didn't think that I don't know,
"Have you enjoyed this series of taskmaster?"
"Uh..." *checks sheet* "...yes."
Probably the best at maintaining a proper conversation.
Sophie´s awesome :) Always with a positive and inquisitive attitude. Never unpleasant, even - if not explicitly called upon. My favourite on this show!
She's very likeable, because you get the impression that she's really , really honest.
+
omg, Alex holding the lock of hair out of her face has me in tears! She's adorable, I love her attitude!
Odd I thought it as rude lol
Only Alex could do something like that and make it seem passive agressive
With how often u see black women saying people touch their hair without asking, and she specifically said it felt like he was asserting something over her. It was really uncomfortable for me
@@odar9729 IT WAS VERY RUDE!!!!! And she said so. When she said “STATUS” we knew what she meant. 😒😒
@@ivorymarie82 Oh my god, stop being so dramatic. She's clearly not offended even slightly by it.
Alex : "Mimes that he's taller than Sophie with awkward hand gesture"
Sophie: "AlrIGHT No NeEd TO be SasSy! 😂❤
I didn't know Sophie before Taskmaster, she's adorable.
Watch Frankie Boyle New World Order she all ways on that.
She also appeared on mock the week a few times
She was also on 8 out of 10 cats on Jon's team.
She's the only racist still allowed on TV
@Proletarichad ?! Black Lives Matter are fragile boomers for trying to stamp out racism?! I never knew that, thanks man
She came off here as the smartest and most thoughtful contestant.
she kind of is
shame she's a racist
She was. Maybe ever. She's absolutely brilliant, and also very funny.

Sophie is a delight and i have enjoyed everything she is in that i have seen so far
"500 is a good number...for a regiment"
Her answers are so...Alex-y 😂
”i dont have a paedometer like you do” lmao
Such a great way to do an interview and it's really refreshing to see an interview that hasn't been cut together. Wcwllwnt questions and answers from both parties.
I like your Welsh spelling of the word excellent.
@@ruqayyahqadri8180 I think it might be a welsh spelling of eloquent.

Love her so much - I can’t believe she’s cried 4 times 😂 woman after my own heart
Plus I love her questions to Alex - his retort “whatever the question is, it’s going to be an egg” 😂😂
Also I love how frustrated she gets with Alex
As a crier myself I love that she has shown her emotions like that. Although she is probably embarrassed about it. She is my fave this series
Oh, "an egg"! I thought he said "a neck", which was disturbing me a bit.
@@celinavivian1162 you would absolutely love her episode of Off Menu then, she cries like 4 times in one hour. it's one of my all-time favorites
@@celinavivian1162 You two talk about crying like you´re the only ones that can do it... Bloody misandrists! We men have rights too, you know! Not least the right to cry when we want to! ;)
great one, their dynamic is actually so funny
Love this series’ cast but Sophie is my biggest highlight. Truly amazing.
She's toxic
"OH MY SHITTING GOD!" is now my favorite exclamation.
Alex, doesn't matter you height, mate, you're our Little Alex Horne
She seems really nice. I just watched her Live at the Apollo set as well and she is really funny...I need to catch up on the new episodes of Taskmaster.
'have you written these questions?'
-'doesn't say...'
By the end it was very much little Alex Horne keeping up with Sophie Dukers steps
I might well ADORE her. Damn, how can one survive a crush like this?!
That was a good way to get to know her. She seems really nice.
Taskmaster contestants used to be funny or interesting, they're really running out of talent. It's so sad.
It looks like they did 98 more steps after she said they were on 511. Subtract that from 619 and she was actually at 521, or within 2% of her guess. So close!
She’s lovely!
Love her
I love Sophie! Funny that she is the only one (I think) who pointed out that the questions were designed to get them to lose count.
Most people know that. It's taken for granted, I would imagine. Most don't comment on the blatantly obvious.
I like the walking interviews 😁
Beautiful personality
Really love this cast
One of the few tasks that was featured in an international version before getting back to TM Home.
(I'd love to see the collect the balloons task in the UK version too.)
I love how Sophie didn't know whether to laugh or hit Alex for holding her hair :D
I hated that for her. When are ppl going to get it…. STOP TOUCHING US!!!!!
@@ivorymarie82 Stop being offended on behalf of other people.
@@ivorymarie82 Oh, were you there too? If Alex Horne touched other contestants but did not touch Sophie Duker because she happens to have a different colour skin to him, would that have been racist?
It's really bad if you're experiencing racism in your life. That is not what happened here though, they are very clearly treating each other as normal human beings irrespective of their differences - age, gender, height, skin colour, number of children, number of teeth, income, number of friends, shoe size, brand of clothes, there are a lot of demographics to measure them by.
She was even laughing haha
@@ivorymarie82 why are you telling grown adults how to interact with other grown adults? For someone so worried about personal agency you’d think you’d mind your own business.
She seems like unflappably chill.
The person who cried 4 times during the tasks??? 😋
@@stackels97 fr. I'll never understand the comment section. Half the people are going I love that she's frustrated. The other going she's so chill. A bunch of competitive liars who just want likes and can barely pay attention to the content without the goal of a snakry comment it's nuts

Okay guys... Great job uploading those little bits. I think we're ready for the complete episodes now!

So... It's not happening...
I love her
'little Alex Horne the 1st'
Alex: *shows he's taller*
😂
I can't take my eyes off her earrings, I love them!
The heads of cabinet ministers. Thats brilliant.

It took me a second to realise she was saying pedometer when she said “pedo-metre”
I was surprised Alex did not react to that.
@@mothersuperior6751 He does a bit of side-eye and a small headshake to someone off-camera, possibly an imaginary person :D I love his deadpan attitude.
In the uk they pronounce pedo- (as in referring to feet) like pee-doh and pedo- (referring to children) like pay-do. So I didn’t really think it was off
@@celinavivian1162 completely wrong lol she said it wrong here as a joke. We say pedo (meaning pedophile) as pee-do where as Americans say pe-do which is how we would say it for pedometer. Nobody is saying pay-do at all 😂
@@celinavivian1162 In the UK we pronounce pedo as in "pedometer" as peddo to rhyme with meadow. "Paed" like in paediatric is pronounced to rhyme with fed or head.
Delightful cast, I only knew Ardal but i love all of them now. Sophie Duker is such a laugh, i thought she was by far the best at keeping the convo rolling as well.
I’ve liked all the contestants on this series but I really like her; clued up and funny.
I don't know this woman but I instantly like her very much
Ok that’s all 5 done their interviews. If you are sad like me you want to know who won:
1 Ardal 358
5 Bridget 602
3 Chris 481

Strange that Bridget won, since she resisted the task even more than she usually does xD

The contestants just need to keep his pace but he insists that they also keep his gait. Everything was written on the Task, little Alex Horne. Although that’s for the contestants to argue. Loving these as interview segments. Best ones of the Series.
Alex's version of being a Lady's Maid, helping Sophie with her hair
I'm still waiting to see series 12 released either on here or Amazon or wherever I can view it.
Yes, for a while they were releasing (or making public) an new series every week or so. But for series 9 it's trickled down to one episode every few weeks ...
Free internationally accessible episodes on RUclips seem to have stopped when the show switched channels in the UK. The SuperMax+ streaming service is p to season 9 now (one more than RUclips) and will be getting more soon, plus several foreign franchises.
She is amazing
I love that Alex is holding her hair as if it was a cigarette
Nothing about that gesture was cute. And she said so.

What's your favourite joke? To make it easier for you she only made one. And to her credit she immediately realized it was not broadcastable.
@@sveniusz oh look it's Sven again. I hope he's still hating women, because that's the sven I know and love
@@fredh1720 Still me, still hating ALL the women in the world. You know I don't even hate Sophie? She's just not making any jokes, that's all. Which is why I find it confusing when people call her funny. Well, they probably just think she's hot and therefore project all other positive traits they can think of.
Oh man, watching Sophie correctly point out that blueberries are purple in one of the last episodes and have everyone ridicule her and the whole audience laugh at her was infuriating. I thought she was great this series but that annoyed the shit out of me.
2:22 How many do you think they were at?
So now we know spiders don’t have tongues. But more importantly what we still don’t know is… do they have a heart? Do they have a soul?
Alex's face when she said pedo meter 😆
I’m dying before they even started the walk
time from when Alex asks if he should hold Sophie’s hair in his mouth until he appears to emotionally recover: approximately 15 full seconds 0:50
7:50 WHOA WHOA WHOA, last time I checked Alex was not an egg man.
Just for reference:
Bridget: 602 steps, 5 points
Sophie: 619 steps, 4 points
Chris: 481 steps, 3 points
Judi: 432 steps, 2 points
Ardal: 358 steps, 1 point
The way she pronounced Pedometer 😂
Sophie is gorgeous!!!
Are the Series 13 episodes posted in this channel? Or is it so that I cannot see them because I live in Lithuania?
The full episodes seem to have stopped after S9E2.
They aren't here :(
Channel 4 isn’t releasing them yet. They’re unavailable to everyone not in the UK for now, unfortunately.
Full episode on the channel stop at series 12 not 9 but they havent posted full episodes of series13 yet
series 1-9 aired on UK tv play, after that it got bought by channel 4. So I assume some copy right stuff has happened so that's why 1-9 are avilaible on youtube. I suspect it'll be awhile until 10+ are avilable.
Alex Horne is my favorite person I’ve never met!
I'm lucky enough to have met him and he was as lovely as you'd expect!
"...ironing..."
*unnecessarily long eye contact*
"O-oh, Okay..."
I have to use the captions (which are pretty bad) and it said "hiding" at that part, so I thought he meant he only has down time when hiding from Greg. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The maths question was easier than it sounded: 880 goes into 11, so 869 (11 less) also goes in. 79 times to be exact.
I think they've all been asked maths questions with similar tricks.
Bashing cabinet ministers' heads together should become a hobby.
For legal reasons, this is a joke.
At least they'd have a proper use.

Why isn't anyone asking for Alex's counter?
He has said on most of them that it doesn't actually work
I guess it stalls the fun
He doesn't let them see it.
It’s so interesting to see these clips without the audience reaction and music
These interviews are always internet extras and never used in the tv series, so never have an audience watching the playback or the incidental music underneath. They're always relatively raw and sadly a lot suffer from poor audio, as if they were squeezed in during sound crew breaks or something.
