100%, I have seen Judy Love a few times but I'm not very familiar with her. The rest I didn't know at all and it was an incredible season, easily in my top 5.

I was kinda iffy bc this was actually the first ever season where I didn't know anyone (all others I knew at least one of them beforehand a little), but not this time and i was concerned I wasn't gonna get as invested, but it turned out to be one of my all time faves! I loved the cast and their chemistry
I knew of Ardal O'Hanlon from Father Ted but I didn't know what he was like as a comedian because he's playing a character in that, I recognised Judy Love but that was about it. I remember seeing Chris Ramsey on Russel Howard's Good News back in 2010 (I just looked up when it was) but it's been 12 years and he looks so different I didn't recognise him or his name until he started talking.

Nobody has made little Alex Horne laugh so genuinely and consistently as Ardal. I have been watching over 13 series and this is truth. He absolutely kills him every time
yes!! i didnt like any of the individuals previously. sophie, bridget and ardal i had never heard of, and judi and chris i actively disliked. now i love sophie and bridget especially, and i think that judi was actually one of the funniest this season
@@sternschnuppe9101 I loved this, too. None of them were mean, angry or aggressive (well, except Bridget to Greg, which was a delightful turning of the tables, and appropriate - punch up, not down). Ardal and Chris added such sweetness, and Bridget's spacey moments (annoying the hell out of Alex - bonus!) were precious. They really gelled as a contestant "team".
Fun fact: Judi Love is the first contestant since Phil Wang in series 7 to not win a single episode, and they're the only two to have never won since the series expanded into 10 episodes.
@@markhutton6824 I think a big part of that is that ever since like series 11, the winning team in team tasks received 5 points, when before they would usually only get 3. Still though, I'm kind of surprised Judi scored more overall than Charlotte or Victoria given neither of those two were particularly bad at tasks, they just happened to be the lowest scorers, while Judi WAS bad at tasks

What I loved is we have so many previous episodes of Greg schooling the contestants, or taking someone aside and dressing them down, but he's scared of Bridget, hahaha.
What a fantastic series! Seeing them all dancing together at the end was cute - they're such a good bunch and seem to genuinely enjoy each others' company.

Totally! It's said almost every day by someone in our house now, and then the rest of us say it back like some sort of strange cult ritual. Then we all smile and feel a little happier. That man is a joy.
The funniest thing about that for me is that I didn't know him before this, and I also somehow saw the task without hearing that Chris was supposed to say "No way!" after every question, so I just thought that was all him and that he was a delightfully cheery guy lol. I think that's still true.
I found the fan mystifying at the time. But now, with the added context that Judi thought she could bring in a baby to *give away to the winner* and that would be allowed, so she had to scramble at the last moment and came up with a fan... i'm mystified and *extremely concerned.*
One of the best series of a consistently high standard programme. I loved this group, they played off each other so well and were funny from start to finish

They neeeeed to post the aubergine task. On this note, I actually hope they start posting tasks from all series that were previously not included. This cast has been a pleasant surprise, one of my absolute favourites. Looking forward to seeing more of them on different platforms. I will really miss this series
One of the things I love to watch for, especially in outtakes, is Greg's 'silent conversations' with the gallery. Sometimes it's verbalized, but sometimes you just know he's being told something, but he's responding in gestures or some other way, and I love trying to suss out what it might be.
Amazing to have one of the best series on the 13th go! Being from the US I hadn’t had as much experience with most of them, but everyone really brought something special
Bridget has some crazy comedy moments and very bizarre but awesome.. But out of them all you should watch Ardal in Father Ted.. A classic UK comedy show will have you in stitches
The taskmaster nz is my favorite seasons. This is turning into my favorite UK one tho, it's a good mix. Just waiting for someone to post the rest of the episodes!
This series has been great. Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed all of the series of Taskmaster, but this one felt like the energy was how it was pre-covid. Was nice to have the audience back in the studio and the contestants sitting close to each other again. I look forward to series 14.

I love Greg and Alexs dynamic, whether it's scripted or not they make even funnier with their individual personas. Could watch it all day especially the outtake of Alex being asked if he saw a real nudie lady.
Yes, they're so unexpectedly a perfect balance. What cracks me up is how their 'characters' and their selves continually bleed over until you can't quite tell what's 'real' and what's purely acting, because there's some of each. Having a few of the contestants be their close friends helps muddy those waters as well. It's astonishing how well it works, and I think that's a big part of the magic, honestly. On paper, it sounds like that blurred line would be a crashing failure, but in person, that's what makes it electric.
I mean, they were not all strong contenders. But that's the beauty of Taskmaster! It's just as fun to watch Bridget not know how to walk or Judi run up to high five Alex after 20 seconds as it to watch the competent attempts. We need both for a good series!

This was an amazing series! The best series since the move to channel 4 in my opinion. Probably aided in part by the reintroduction of the live audience, but also this cast has a clear chemistry. Loved it
Judi is magnetic, because 90% of the time it seems like she really doesn't want to be there and maybe we're going to get a Preston on Buzzcocks moment. And that makes those few moments when she breaks character and laughs or smiles so good.

I know a guy who is genuinely 210cm.I am 158 cm. Just the sheer size difference is intimidating. Bridget definitely knows Greg well, She powered upto Greg like she is not afraid.
Judy upselling all her rationales and explanations was honestly my favorite part of this season, great season overall, just that was always chef's kiss. 🤣
What might be good is if the Champion of Champions has a task which requires a teammate, and it turns out to be a TM wooden spoon loser. Just to see Gamble’s face when Baddiel walks in.
A classic series I think. I’ve loved them all but Ardal, Bridgette and Judi really made it exceptional for me. Chris and Sophie were also hilarious. Wonderful stuff.
PLEASE put up the moment when Little Alex Horne learned to make the sound of an African Elephant!! With Greg's full breakdown from the sound!! It's one of the best moments ever.
Best. Cast. Ever. 💗 Loved their chemistry, their teamwork, and everything they brought individually made a delightful whole. I can hardly name a favorite, because I loved them all, and what they each brought out of Greg and Alex was so fresh and funny. This season just elevated. (Bridget slayed, though. Getting the best of Greg, hilariously so, and unintentionally pushing Alex to limits we've never seen before, just by being herself - such an intriguing combination of sweetly dim, and brutally sharp. She's a wonder.)
Every time Judi comes up with one of her anecdotes, I remember what Greg said to Alex in the first episode of the series. "Write that down: Amazing bullshitter" 😄
My favourite series too - definitely the most laugh out loud moments of any of them. Wasn't familiar with any of the contestants before but OMG I love them all.
She was the one I knew the least about but I also found her hilarious with the way she tried to BS her way to victory. Some of her facial expressions (while trying not to laugh) were priceless.
It was worth waiting 13 series to hear Alex say: "You chose that body".

I think Alex laughed more in this season than in all the other ones combined.
At one point Judi made a joke about mixing up the two black girls and I think Greg actually mixed them up at 1:28
I appreciate Greg calling out Alex's lewd task trend. He's definitely been using the show as a way to explore some kinks.
It's not a true Taskmaster series until Alex has to eat something terrible.

Judy really annoyed me at first, but then I got her, she's genuinely hilarious!
She was the one I knew the least about but I also found her hilarious with the way she tried to BS her way to victory. Some of her facial expressions (while trying not to laugh) were priceless.
