Congrats on the beautiful truck! Great video. Very informative. SFI leases Freightliner Cascadias, International LTs, and Volvo VNL 760 and 860s. I've never seen them Leasing Peterbilts. They also did Kenworth T680s a few years ago but stopped offering them due to high maintenance costs. Anyway, just wanted to clarify that. I like your content and just subscribed.✌🏻😎
Hey there. Congrats. I see your your shirt. Were you an automotive tech before? If so, how did your transition into trucking go? I’m considering the same career path.
Hey yes I was an automotive tech, Years ago I went for my CDL and someone offered me a local job so I was doing both then when I moved to Florida there wasn’t any local good paying trucking jobs so I just did auto technician then from there I went to what I’m doing now which is over the road trucking. I was on and off I always liked driving so it was pretty easy for me to transition from both. If you have any other questions or advice you can contact me on my email. Thanks for commenting and watching 👍🏽
Best of luck to you JL👍thanks for bringing us along😎at 70 I am thinking about buying a truck and lease with Schneider but I’ll let you go first and follow along with you to see how the money flows 👍you tell it straight thanks and all the best I currently drive for PTL for 70 cpm but I want my own business 👍ride easy JL
@@ratedr5612yes I am no longer with them but with my military time it put me over 15 years experience so yes I was making .70 cpm👍🏽within the next 6 months I may pull the trigger on starting my own trucking business. Ride easy driver 👍🏽
Why do some men grow their pinky and thumb fingernail out??? Drugs?? You don’t seem like one to do drugs. Maybe back in the day like most of us… I do appreciate the content. Starting Schneider in a few days.
Congratulations brother You said you were a Schneider company so did you have to do a physical test and drug test again? And how much did you put down ?
I was asked to do the Dot physical because mine was up in 2 months, but it's possible if yours is pretty recent, you don't have to. You will have to ask your recruiter. Now the drug test you will need to do !!
You will need about $600.00 for the 2290 Hevy vehicle tax for the truck. I paid 550 for my truck I believe that’s for every truck but bring 600 just in case also some fuel money they do give you a fuel card, but at the beginning it does have a limit, at least until you pick up a load their trucks usually have a quarter tank maybe half a tank of fuel.
If you do everything through them, you sign onto Schneider your truck payment will be everything included maintenance insurance and some other little miscellaneous things. I will see close to 1500 that’s everything insurance insurance included. I have a used truck which is 911+ maintenance. I believe is 220+ insurance is 177 so I pay weekly 1387 and that’s with a used truck, it’s a new truck look at it about 1500 with everything it could be less
The older, the truck, the more you will pay in the maintenance account, the newer, the truck less on the maintenance account. You’ll be less on the maintenance account and at the end of the lease. The balloon payment will be higher on the new truck.
Another great vid!
Congratulations!! Nice Truck! I used to watch all your videos when you were a Schneider company driver. Can't wait to see how great you do!
Thanks 👍
Se extrañan los videos en español jejeje pero me da gusto verlo de vuelta trabajando en schneider.
