Thanks for being honest...it's refreshing someone not trying for a recruiting bonus....
Thank you for watching
With this market you will not make it .
The market has been been down and leveled out for over a year. I’m still here and still making it work. You have to learn to be efficient and prepared for times like these. Thank you for watching
At sfi u can work any carrier?
LCN = Landstar Communication Network
Thank you, I had forgot but I remember them talking about that now.
That's what I was looking for man ty very much. Puts allot of thing's into perspective. Can't wait for the next 2 series, thanks again.
Thank you for watching
Good video, BUT its crazy your asking others what's coming out of YOUR settlement, ANYTIME you have something on your settlement your not sure CALL LS right away. Know where your money is going... And compare your settlement EVERY week.. there will be TIMES you ask yourself WTF is this..
Oh for sure. Thank you for watching
Hey bud are you pulling flat bed? Did sfi say anything about installing a headache rack?
I’m still pulling a van at the moment. SFI doesn’t care if you put a headache rack on the truck, I’ve got a buddy that has a SFI truck and he is currently changing over to flatbed right now. He starts with his new company on Monday. Thank you for watching
@Stretching Miles With Stretch X thanks for the response. I didn't want to ask them. I was planning on its better to ask for forgiveness approach lol
Thanks for the info!!
Thank you for watching
Wait what? Did you move from shnider to landstar?
Oh yeah, several months ago.
72k before fuel...damn thats rough. soo u need to gross 250k a year to see a decent proffit
Thank you for watching
Write off
Thanks !! Great video brother
Thank you for watching
Great video.. thanks a lot
Thank you for watching
If that was 100 a week I'm pretty sure you would know what it is
What about taxes? Or did I miss that part
I just did a part 2 & I touched on it there. Thank you for watching
So after all the fee's and overhead you essentially make the same amount as a company driver?? I don't see the point.. one big extra hassle for what? To pick where you go? Lol not worth it
I can appreciate your opinion but I know what company drivers make and I know what I make. This definitely works for me. Thank you for watching
Super trucker is trying to explain to us fees and he doesn't even know what they are and he's never actually had the courage to ask. I would trust this guy like a hole in the wall. He's trying to recruit to make money I'm guessing
🦸🏻♂️🦸🏻♂️ thank you for watching 🦸🏻♂️🦸🏻♂️
Dude why don’t you take that stuff somewhere else😞he’s giving us his time and talent and you have to say in that BS You are like a crab in a bucket trying to bring us down 😞sad statement from you driver
Honest question: I know you were previously leased on to Schneider. Can you make decent money with an SFI truck? Another question: how much $ did SFI require from you to move truck to LandStar?
I feel like I make decent money with a lease truck, but that’s my opinion. What 1 driver feels is decent money may not be to another driver.
As for moving my truck, I just had to pay the difference in the Schneider versus Landstar deposit. I had to bring my deposit up to the Landstar deposit, but I’ve also been told that it’s a case by case situation and the deposits have all changed since then.
@@stretchingmileswithstretch7227 thanks .. decent money would $2400 -$3000 after all fixed and variable costs. I’ve seen your weekly recaps and your gross has been fairly consistent $5k to 6k weekly. I have an idea what your fixed costs are.
I’m more or less wanting to follow your path. Acquire an SFI truck, lease on to Schneider, and after a year or so, go to LandStar. For those reading this wondering ‘why doesn’t he just lease on to LandStar directly,’ I’m taking advantage of Schneider’s lease sign on bonus of $7k that I’ll use towards my SFI down payment. Not sure what the LandStar deposit is, but I heard it can be several thousand dollars.
@@bidenwearsdiapers4026 the sign on bonus was a big part of the reason I went there also & to be fair, it’s not a bad gig. I made money there. I just needed more options on freight around my house and I get that with Landstar.
As for my transfer cost, I think I paid $1600 & $500 of that was the transfer fee. At that time, the deposit for landstar wasn’t much more than Schneider
@@stretchingmileswithstretch7227 if I sign on with SFI, will they hoo you up with a referral bonus? If so, I’ll put you down. I’m in the Atlanta area. I’m thinking I should be fine freight wise/getting home regularly wise.
@@bidenwearsdiapers4026 Atlanta is a hot market. Definitely a good area. I’m not sure how they do referrals, but my truck #74143. I’ll try to find out on Monday.
