How To Maintain Straightened Hair Overnight WITHOUT Wrapping

  • A video on how to maintain straight hair overnight with wrapping the hair again. This helps my straightened relaxed hair lasts longer when I tie with my satin scarf and pin the ends up in a cross wrap. The traditional wrap cause my edges to become sore and break off really bad so this helps me at night. This is my hair night time routine when I'm wearing it straight.

    The same thing happens to my edges when I wrap it wet or dry that’s why I just quit wrapping it. A lot of these “protective” black hair routines are actually very very damaging to our hair

    This is perfect. I always notice my edges starting to thin on the side of my hair that I have to wrap upwards, so I’m not a huge fan of the traditional wrap. Thank you for sharing your technique.

    Hi Tyiece. I looked real carefully at how you did this because I want to learn how to do it. But I think my hair is too long and I have trouble having my hair tied up. I need to learn to deal with it better. :)

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  6 лет назад

      yes your hair is way too long. Since your hair is wavy, you can just do one bantu knot and pin it. Then let it down in the morning

    • @MaxItUpwithMarta
      @MaxItUpwithMarta 6 лет назад

      I kind of do that, I actually do a very loose knot on the very top of my hair, I use my hair to make the knot. I'm like you can't stand anything tight on my head.

    • @Tyiece
      @Tyiece  7 лет назад

      +Sapphire no prints because the bobby pin is on the hair that would be my nape and under the hair lying flat if you understand, so when I comb it down, those strands are hidden, so I don't see any visible dents

      Lisa Whigham green tea. on wash days after you shampoo your hair put room temperatured green tea (after brewing the tea, let it sit, you can do this HOURS before you wash your hair) on your hair then apply your deep conditioner or conditioner let it sit as long as you can (preferably half hour) then rinse out. your hair wont completely stop shedding but you will notice less shedding. hoped this help:)
