I have seen ppl wrap their hair like that but never tried it. I really like the low manipulation aspect of it. I think Im going to try it after my next relaxer! As always great video!!

I like this method and I will definitely be trying it, because I have tried so many times to do the other style of wrapping but failed.
I wrap my hair up like that put some clips in and sleep on a silk pillow case :) wake up with perfect straight hair

Everyone this works rlly well I tried it last night where my hair was straightened rlly well and I woke up.to it exactly the same very straight soft and still silky no frizz or signs of curls appearing. It's very easy to wrap not like some other methods, I put a few Bobby pins to the top parts just to make sure it stays but but the big clip rlly helps asw I 10000% recommend this is the first thing that's actually helped my hair in years and this is gonna help so much w limiting heat dmg for me every morning

But does adding oil adds moisture and it's not water based
Oil will help smooth the hair and keep the ends okay until you wash it
When I apply the oil it acts as a barrier and gives my hair slip so there is no breakage when manipulating through it. but it also gives me the flexibility to have flowy hair because my hair soaks it up after about two days. So I just refresh it every other day! Since moisturizer is water or 'moisture' based, it would revert my hair and it wouldn't stay straight. Hope this helps!
