    My mum did wraps in the 70’s in Spain. Once wrapped in one direction and dried, she used to then wrap it in the other direction and repeat the process. This would counteract any strands facing in the one direction and result in gorgeous luscious hair 😄

      Do you know in beauty shops today they dont even know this style. I be like the wrap like they used to do in the 90's where they put a product on wet hair then wrap it and place you under the dryer. These new girls have know fucking idea what im talking about

    • @JJ-dd6gp
      @JJ-dd6gp 5 месяцев назад

      am literally just had this done and is sitting under the dryer now. The only thing that has me kinda iffy is that my hair is abit longer and thicker than the person in this vid and i have only saw this wrap on short hair. never seen it on long hair except today..@@peacefuldays4255

      You can also add a smooth garnier or any smooth leave in ,AND it might work,my hair is very curly, not relaxed AND it smoothes ,I use a roller set net over the wrap to go under the dryer ,and when I come out of the dryer I wrap my hair to the other side ,add a little serum if need shine to even up hair and put on a silk scarf to go to bed. Hope it works for you,good luck

    We use this technique in dominican republic but with dry hair before going to sleep everynight that way we don't need to straight our hair everyday we alsl do it for a whole day if we are going to stay at home in few words the only times we don't do this is when we need to go out but most people don't worry about it and go out like this to the mall, grocery stores, parks.... Is normal seeing girls like this everywhere

      Yes, no shame in it! No one can tell me differently! It is not about being ashamed of being Black and wish they were White. It is about not everyone has time or energy, or desire to mess with hair all day. Myself, I am part White, so I do not even have to try to be White. For me, just tired a lot from meds, and have never bounced by from my dominate shoulder injury from almost 11 years ago.

    im a guy and i relaxed my hair. it's been 2 weeks and it's still straight/semi curly. how did i keep it that way? well i didnt wrap my hair around , instead i comb it all to the back but first of course i put some good quality, healthy hair products on my hair, comb it through THEN comb it to the back. i put a plastic cap on then put on my durag. every. morning and night i put on the products and comb it through, doing the same process. i'm not disappointed, i love the results :)

    I cannot wrap to save my life.
    Haven't relaxed my hair in 7 years, but when I get it flat ironed, I try my best to wrap it.
    Doesn't work out.😪

      +lincia202 I'm not sure, it's best to master it with shorter hair first to me. I was doing this when my hair was ear length

    Thank you new to your channel I can wrap short hair but shoulder length I have a problem with the crown because it's not flat. I do a side part and a horizontal on one side then start to wrap with the side first. Yes I love the way you laid your hair. Thanks

    We grew up using no product on really curly hair and wrapping it tight hair pinning it along the way and sleeping with a scarf. In the moringing we would flip it for 30-60 mins the other direction while we got ready its completely straight no product no heat.

    I am proud of myself! Tonight was the first time, late this afternoon, I dry wrapped my hair without need for pins, but also was quick to put on my bandana before it could unravel! 😂 My key? Vaseline! I started using it in my hair last week a day or so after having a "beauty mark" removed from right under the left side of my lip out of precaution. I was told to put Vaseline on where it was removed. Broke down and decided to use on my hair as well, and was amazed at how bone straight it almost was with flat iron at 400 degrees. But still felt light waves in roots. Note to self: Never again dry hair in Bantu knots....

      Forgot to say my hair just barely covers my neck! Hope to grow out another 6" or so. Never been a short hair type, and do not want to do weaves or extensions. Did do a wig before, though, but rather try to rock my real hair.

      Depends on ur hair texture. I wet wrap my hair all the time to cut down on my heat usage. My hair isn't relaxed just a really fine texture. It's all in the products u use.
