Nearly fluent in French ! Nearly, because “Je arrive dans le français” would be “I’m coming into the Frenchman” 😂
Ha Ha, well we live in a very open world these days… 🤷♂️😉👍
@@teapotone 🤣
@@teapotonedo you have extenders on the Kriega harness? I need a set if you can post a link?
😂
@adam5913 just drop Kriega a line via their socials and ask them 👍
Cool... I have been to Vianden in April of 2023, and will be there again next September. Lovely area to ride.
On the earplugs, I switched to earbuds for the Cardo and now NEVER forget them! :D
Great vid Bruce need to get on one of these trips. After house, then I can start spending again! :D
Did France Germany Luxembourg and Belgium in the summer including the forested hills… beautiful but 6 out of 8 days in the rain…. Loved it… Enjoy
One month later it was 16-20°C its the luck if the draw ! Glad u all had a good one !
Started doing these routes in early 2000’s, but I’ve never been mad enough to try them in early march!😂😂
Its nice to see you guys enjoying the ardennes ,one of my favourite parts of my country :D
Luxembourg certainly laid down a few bike perfect roads. Been there. Certainly going again. Loved watching this one.
Nice tour despite the weather
Beautiful! Love France riding.
Dark vizor in this weather feels like riding at night, lol.
Did some of the area this year, stayed with Neil and Anne at aeaventures- Neil took us out on some of his favourite roads. Definitely worth checking out for a stay.
Luxembourg is a beautiful country, good main roads and lots of castle and lovely countryside. The small towns are more off Roady when they are in the sticks. Glad you visit the country my better half is from.
Welcome on my roads 🇧🇪 🇱🇺 Enjoy and Ride safe ✌️
"I'll have you know, I am effluent in MANY languages" 😅 - me to a mate of mine. Looks a great time on the bike Bruce. Even if it was Baltic!
Bravo les gars, sous la pluie avec le sourire. 👍✌
That is a beautiful ride. The teaser will the snow clip ,that sketchy on 2 wheels. I ride down to about 29 degrees Fahrenheit ,not so much fun lower than that.
Been there many times. Great roads but damn, the rain is just insane. Always rain
Enjoyed the video, we were there I August....think we had slightly better weather. We stayed at Eshe sure sure, did a loop from there via Wiltz and Vianden. Stunning roads, we were lucky to be diverted a few times and the roads were even better and quieter.
looking forward to my trip following Simon weir route through france to Luxembourg to see my wife's family . Traveling down on Kawasaki versys 1000.
Looks a great area to ride, we haven't really explored this region but might have to pay it a visit next year. Thanks for taking us along 😎
Another great video, love “riding” along with y’all! Stay safe.
Stayed in the Hotel de la Poste in Bouillon a few times 😃
Exact same place I went to this year May!! Truly amazing roads.
Was in that neck of the woods in September, riding some of Simon's routes. Lovely part of the world, under-rated and relatively untouristy, chock full of great roads, history, cool little towns... not to mention fantastic Belgian beer! Looking forward to the rest of this one... 😁👍🍻
Great roads pity it wasn’t dry and warmer, enjoyed the video , the last time i took bike through Belgium and Luxembourg was 1979 July on a Suzuki GS 1000 roads were dry and the sun was shining 😊
Another great episode. Shame about the weather for you all, as those roads looked amazing!
Wow! That’s a blast from the past for me! I have been to Vianden Castle and the surrounding area quite a few times. So nice to see it again. Some fantastic hotels and restaurants around there that don’t mind bikers! This may sound mad but you have to go to the stove museum near there! Good food and nice people!
Class, I've been looking forward to this Frozen forest tour. Top editing, nice one :)
The beard uploads, i watch an enjoy
Too cold for me Bruce. But nice to watch the clan have a good time. Another very enjoyable vid to watch. Safe cruising till next time 👍.
Cheers Les, you too bud 👍
Nice! But way too cold for me!!! Great vid!
Ha Ha cheers Bob, it gets colder! 😬🤦♂️🤣
Funny to see you ride here in Luxemburg and really not far from my place (Mersch). Luxemburg is a nice place to ride starting late Spring till mid/end Oktober. Ride safe and greetings from the little country
13:20 just as you are getting a little used to the cold wet conditions, that happens just to remind you that controle is an illusion.
Noticing the uk number on those keys were great detective skills Bruce - you’d have made a decent copper mate 😂
Nah, can’t stand’em 😉👍
Late morning in December, 0° outside, and this video captured some stunning parts of Europe. I intend to get back over there (although I've not been to the places in the vid). Another quality video Bruce.. I'll be honest, my bike is tucked away today 🙈
Thanks bud, aye I’d planned to go out and do some filming today, but walking the dog this morning and almost slipping arse over tit as I crossed the road soon changed that! 🤦♂️🤣
13:19 What happened there? Lovely video man, looking forward to future times me doing this
Thanks for riding in France, so I can see it without actually going to France.
Just go Marco, it’s so easy to travel there from the Uk 👍
Not in Calais, your going through
Coquelles
just nit picking :) great vid
Cracking vid👌🏻
great vid bruce
Thanks 👍
Hir Von vanker lives there ,in that chateau on the hill .
looks like your first stop was at pont a Mousson? one of my favorites for a coffee stop at least!
Teapotone!how’s life?! you shared beautiful trip-till next time- 😎
Thanks bud 👍
Id forgotten how chilly it was........hope the rest of the gang are good- thanks to those who turned up to Lind to heckle BruceyBoy- apparently hes been around the world on a sports bike, who knew ??
Whens part 2 coming. Love these mini series
Next week 👍
5:01 That's $8.02 per gallon if you're in the US.
Hi good episode as all ways. What glove are you using in this episode?
Thanks Chris, they’re the ones I always wear bud, called the Spidi X-Force CE Gloves, in Red.
They’re available at the SportsbikeShop and I have an affiliate link where I get about 2% commission on any online sales from the link

TMF needs to join you on one of those jollies😂
Ha Ha, I can’t afford him!
Dude, leaving us hanging on that drama is just fucking cruel! :)
Part 2 is right there for you to watch
Can't wait to see what the drama with the locals was :)@@teapotone
Mais vous parlez bien français Monsieur Bruce! Shall we continue in french? Nice vid! Thanks, Marc, Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦😉🏍
Deux bières s'il vous plait… 😎
Nailed it.
Thanks Marc, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Great vid, love the fun shown between you all! How do you wear your rucksack when wearing your air vest?
You have to wear it loose over the top of the vest. Kriega made me some extension pieces, just drop them a line if you need some 👍
@@teapotone amazing thank you
Grwat series ❤on another bote does anyone remember a bike journalist called dan walsh? Wrote a book called these are the days that must happen to you ?
Yes, fantastic book that, I read it before I did my own trip.
I’d love to get him on my ‘Bru Time’ podcast for a chat but I think he’s dropped off socials now
Yes,I loved reading his monthly writings in bike magazine, they actually ran a campaign years ago and produced stickers 'has anyone seen dan'? But to my knowledge he was not tracked down.🤷♂️
@taz473 A maverick, rereading the faded book now. I think he is doing football fanzines now, but would love to hear him on the podcast.
I'm interested in hearing more about your opinion on the 1250 GS and the 1300 GS. I have heard that the 1300 isn't as comfortable
I see no difference at all in comfort so far, done about 1,500 miles at the mo
Bruce, I was listing to your Bru time podcast yesterday... It was about the helite airbag. Interesting. But now I'm watching this vid... And I have a question... Can you actually wear a backpack in combination with a airback??? Is that safe?
Hi Rolf,
Yes it’s no problem as long as you have the rucksack on loose, we actually talk about this in the podcast bud
@@teapotone ah, right. I didn't finish it yet :) i arrived at my destination before finishing the podcast, but I already got hooked. Thanks
Bruce was your first night in Boullion?? Four of us road these in June Belgium is a brilliant place for bike the beers not bad eithe😂
Yep
Looks amazing❤. What intercom have you all got?
Cheers, they’re all Cardo’s, either the old Pactalk Bold or the new Edge 👍
Nice one, thank you😉👍
🤟👍👍🤟
Can you put link or post the routes you cover on video...
No afraid not, these are the routes I use in my tour business. You can buy them off Simon Weirs website though simonweir.co.uk
Looks stunning, but 3 degrees is too cold 🥶 for me.
Do you have to pay speeding fines from the EU or frame them as a badge of honour ☺️
Would you ever do a podcast secrets of the tours and the met.
Ha Ha, I’d LOVE to do a ‘Tales form the Met’ episode of Bru Time, but the job has ZERO sense of humour these days and some muppet is bound to be offended and complain
Not worth the grief sadly.
Just buy me a few beers next time you see me in a pub and I’ll spill all! 🤣😉👍
@@teapotone so the mets full of the life sucking wokes too I was asked to do my pronouns and apparently biker, Jedi master velociraptor is the wrong answer. 🤷♂️
What tyre you have on this trip ??
Dunlop Mutants
@@teapotone are good tyre in winter conditions ??
How come not on the 1300...??
This was filmed in early March this year
Looking forward to 1300 stuff...awesome bike unfortunately only a test ride
Four minutes into the video and I notice someone is on an MT10? Isn’t that a pain in the bottom? with regards to everyone else’s longer range fuel tank type bikes?
No it’s about every hour so most people are happy to get off and stretch 👍
Hi Bruce I see you have an airbag would it be restricted in full inflation with the straps from your rucksack
No, as long as you have the rucksack reasonably loose. If you look close you’ll see I wear strap extenders on the Kriega rucksack, which allow it more room over my jacket and vest 👍
Thanks Bruce 👍🏻
Am I wrong but if you get flashed by speed cameras abroad it no longer follows you home since Brexit 🤔
It depends, the relevant police department who deal with that camera can ASK the UK to provide keeper details for the registration, but we are no longer obliged to provide it.
Usually they don’t bother unless it’s proper excess speed or more serious offences
@@teapotoneDon’t speed in Switzerland the cameras and computer systems are live, if caught by speed camera you will the pay the fine on leaving Switzerland if going through manned frontier post.
I received a speeding fine from Luxembourg. They wanted to give me 6 points and 100 euro fine ! .......I just binned it . They didn't send it recorded delivery or anything so I don't think they had any real expectation of it getting paid.
Google Translate is your friend...
Be hood if you posted your routes just incase peeps would like to fo it
Ha Ha, then they should come on tour with us 😉👍
couldnt do that trip on a bmw i would have to wave at some outher biker
