I’m on a mission to start quilting and I am focusing on de-cluttering my craft room 😮 so I can get to my sewing machine. I can’t wait to start making these.
I'd better get moving. I've got a few of these to make. Such a nice Christmas gift, hostess gift, housewarming gift. I'm using my scraps and making them in sets of four. I'll have them on the shelf and when I need a gift, and these seem to fit the recipient, I'll be good to go.
I love the larger coaster/small place mat size! A great size for an office desk. Eating lunch while working is a very common blue collar work occurrence and having a small place mat would be helpful to have under a sandwich or entrée box/wrapper and drink to protect the desk. Thank you for sharing your mug rug pattern. Very nice and very easy!!! 💛 (A mug rug would make a nice Father's Day gift, too!)
Thank you for sharing your mug rug pattern ~ both the video and the PDF. From your recommendations in previous videos I always keep a short stack of cut fabrics and batting on my work table so they are ready for small quilted projects ~ like mug rugs.
Cute ideas and good tutorial. I have made several mug rugs using different patterns including applique. Easiest one was a string piece quilt-as-you-go mug rug. They're fun but mildly addictive! LOL
I love your ideas for the mug rugs. They are fun to make. Christmas would be a good excuse. Thanks for all the good tips and fun projects. I can hardly wait to try one out.
Cute projects and I suspect there are many of us that will need a spark of coziness this winter. Thank you for including the Janome settings! Makes cute quilting and will give me a change from straight line quilting.
This is so cute. I love your fabrics and the combinations you put together. I can't wait to make a few of these for gifts. Thanks for sharing. :) Happy Thanksgiving.
Why did you cut your binding and backing so much larger and then cut off? I thought at first you were going to use the backing fabric for a roll over binding. thank you for sharing

Muf Rugs make great conversational pieces and are a polite way for keeping the dining table from water marks when a guest arrive.
I can’t wait to make this mug rug. What a sweet tribute to your grandmother too! Very special indeed.

I love using rail fence when I need a quick gift

Yes, I'd like to see that too.
Thank you

I love this design! Also could you tell me where to find those bins you have shown to store your fabric in ? Thank you so much!
Hi there not sure you are there but would have like to see you doing the quilting and the binding
What is the seam allowance? I am new to mugrugs.
Thx
To make the rail fence , does the length and width have to be the same, no matter the size? Etc 6 1/2 x 6 1/2
Where can I get the same honey bun, if available.
The one that is bigger than the mug rug. Would that be called a snack mat? LoL
What about binding?
I like less talk more action
