I am never buying another Samsung appliance again. 1st front load washer died right at 10 years, shredding itself internally from the spider, bought this dumb top loader that started "unbalancing" after one year. Pure garbage.
Don't forget to never buy Samsung white goods again.
I hate this washer.
the easyest way i found out was, take back cover off, remove grounds and the 4 screws, 2 front/2 back and back panel, lift back about 2 inches, easy to change rods when back panel off, then lift front the same and replace rods, seriouly takes 15 min👍

Thank you for your helpful video. But 'm shocked nobody seems to comment on Samsung's role in this equation...? My previous washer lasted over 20 years. I thought this was a 'quality upgrade' and lasts less than 2 years doing the laundry for 2 people? Why are we not suing Samsung?
Samsung Smart Selfclean Top Washers are trash.. only had 1.5 year and its bouncing making terrible noise all over the place restarting cycles that lasts hrs.. i have to wash during day hrs only as this noise wakes my neighbors up . Inconvenient as I get most of my cleaning 🧹🧼 and washing done in the night hrs
I work on Samsung washers. Every 2-5 years you’ll have to replace the struts. I buy generic (eBay or Amazon) , set of 4 because the Samsung set of 4 is $304! Doesn’t matter what brand you buy, the lifespan is still 2-5 years.
Thank you for your video. I didn't disconnect the wires. We opened the rear panel and removed the old ones and connected the new ones from the rear side. I hope it works fine. I have the help from my son and my wife. Don't forget to put lithium grease.
Me (30s and not handy) and my teenager (15) just did this on model Wa45t3200aw. We didn't have to disconnect any wiring thankfully bc that's the part that gave me pause. And we didn't have to remove the rear panel. I truly want to thank you! Your video was so easy to follow and you made it seem easy which even gave me the confidence to try this fix. I feel so handy. This video is fantastic tutorial. I am the least mechanical person I know; I watched this video 3 times to make sure I wanted to undertake this project. I followed it step by step to include removing the back. It took me 45 minutes to take it apart replace the rods and re-assemble. I just completed my first load after replacement and it worked flawlessly. Saved me hundreds of dollars!
