Hi! Thanks a lot for this very practical video! I have one pair of levis which look truly authentic for what I understand. I mean tags and back pockets,... it's a 501xx from 90's if I check everything but the rivets are only stamped on the front. Is it possible to get that? Considering all the rest and the quality, I am very surprised.. thanks for the help!!!
Captivating! I need your expertise, or that of your fans. I have 2 questions please. Why does my one pair (501s I think) have an extra size tab/flap attached to the right of the typical patch we're all used to? It extends the patch width about 1/2" and is perforated, I guess to rip off at some point, but I haven't since it's the only pair like it I have encountered, and I like it. It simply restates the size (sideways) and nothing else. This extra tab is not sewn onto the waist like the rest of the patch is, but is clearly an extension of it (all one piece, then perforated). If I would tear it off, which I'm not going to do, it would make the patch look like every other. I wondered if some mysterious tag-puller missed this pair! 2nd question please; I favor 514s, and was wondering why two pair (not blue & not heavy) have black patches on them? I have not been able to find out on my own why these aren't brown like the rest of them. My query only brings up black jeans with black patches, but mine are gray and brown with black patches. Thank you for the video!
Many have that perforated patch. Thats ok. I believe it's done for the size to be easier seen when in the store stacked. Most just rip it off thats why not seen often. Not sure on the black patch but I also have seen many. I believe they just put it on the colors other than blue, but not always, if you google gray levis 514 black label you will see others.

you mean the rear leather patch? All are made with that, unles it gets ripped off but you would see a discolored spot where it should be
Brush ofc I get this video after I got some damn they fake
ok
You can easily get fake Levi's in Thailand
Yea I'm sure you can
In Most of the women article coin pockets have 4 rivets

People who make fake Levi's can also watch this
They can and do use the real thing to copy, this video isnt giving them any unknown info.
Thank you my Levi's are real. Thanks for sharing ❤️
thanks
@@PickRoll You're welcome 😊
Stamped factory code of my jeans is 5163. I cant find the country from where they are. I forgot to say that my jeans is black

Hi, I have a pair of 501XX Big E Redline Selvedge jeans and I'm trying to tell if they are real or fake and their age. Rivets have Levis logo on back but they are raised not pressed in stamped. Tag also reads Every Garment Guranteed above lot number. Main button say 554 but doesn't correspond with a long white tag inside. Said that they were made for Europe Belguim. Any help would be appreciated.
Every Garment Guaranteed was on the rear labels for a period.Vintage will not have a long tag inside, will be small/square. You can send me pics on IG and i'll take a look
@@PickRoll what’s you IG?

Thanks for valuable informations, i checked my thrifted ones.Thank god they are real. But i couldn’t find the factory 247 in the list. Any idea?
I haven't seen a complete factory list yet, I wouldn't worry.
@@PickRoll Thank you so much !!

Thank you . With this very informative video you made here, i just checked the levi i bought at sams Club. The stamp is very light on the metal, not a match, fakes, also the material is made from a stretching type of material. levi has been one of my only blue jeans to wear. 25 washes and done on new pairs.
Glad it was helpful!
I've got a pair of 511s the number in them is 4309, I can't find the number on any list, are these likely fake?
I havent seen a totally complete factory list. Im sure they are good, just check the other things mention. If that # is on the tag, your good
@@PickRoll everything else matches up from your video, thanks
@@lphoulihan Good,
Brilliant thanks
welcome
the fakes probably better lmao
really not much difference,
I have a pair of black 550 relaxed made in China. No number on the front button but everything else is there. They are not real?
All Levis have a factory code on button. Send me a pic of inner tag front and back on IG,
@@PickRoll I don’t do any social media. Except RUclips.
@@PickRoll I just noticed that the “leather” tag on the back is only stitched on the top and bottom. Not the sides. Maybe they are fake. And the tag also says 550TM 20reg 30W 30L
Just got back from Goodwill and scored on two pairs of 31x30 560’s look brand new no tags. Three pairs of vintage 550 women’s vintage. A black pair of 550 shorts. I have one pair that has the short tag around the inside hip area and the writing is red. The leather tag is gone and has the orange tag on back pocket. I don’t know how to tell what they are.
Since this is 150th Anniversary year ( 1873 - 2023 ) of Levi's, where can I buy a reproduction pair of Levi's 201xx with rivets on the back pockets? BTW I have been wearing LEVI'S shrink-to-fit 501's decades!
Dont know, try ebay
My Levi’s # is 3249.
newer made
So helpful, thanks 😊! I bought some Levi’s from a charity shop (which is a thrift shop in the USA I believe?). Anyway, someone has scribbled out everything on the labels with black marker pen (although not very well) and cut out the red label on the back pocket and scalloped the hem of the jeans 😢 , but they’re legit thanks to this info.
Glad it helped. thanks
One fake 501...rest was at Greenvale factory outlet for 25bucks...real denim is a Japanese one nothing beats it...pricing on Levis have gone up north after listing on NY exchange
thanks
I have over 300pairs of Levi jeans bought over 20 yrs not including the one offs, dress pants, chinos and overalls, ty just checked 20 and all checked out good.
Wow, nice collection!
Yes Ive seen some rivets inside without letters, not sure why but they only had rings around it
Captivating!
Dear Sir I live in istanbul Turkey, I love levi but in my country when ı went to levi store I was checked your spot check and then I talked stuff, Stuff sait to me this levi product Turkey factory but original ( My n english not goog sorry)

There is a vintage that didnt have rivets, but it was from the 1970s. If you want you can send me pics on IG and i can help, show the front, back, and the inside care tag front and back
Hi Steve I just started reselling and today bought a pair of 505xx. I can’t determine their age Can you help me? There is a one small care tag with no logo next to the pocket on the inside. The patch on the back says Made in USA. Can you give me a way to send you some pictures?
are you on instagram? if so my ig is in video description box, or my email.. Sounds like an 80s tag, but send pics and i'll try to help
Hi bro! Do you know if it might be more factory codes?? Bc i just got ones from pakistan with the 8520 number, but there is one from Vietnam with other code
Ive yet to find a complete list,
Thank you ☺️
Welcome
I purchased a pair of 501s and have verified all numbers, tags and patches. These have tan interior front pockets! Also the color of the denim inside is not white/blue, it is gold. Ideas?
Dont think I ve ever seen that.
i've been rocking Levi's since the mid 70's (74') and it was only in the late 80's that i gave up on buying them , as of now their are only 2' pairs of jeans being manufactured in the US of A , and i only buy and rock ( wear ) those carhartt jeans , many of my friends dont have a problem buying vintage ( very used ) Levi' jeans and for work purposes i to have no problem in buying used pre owned Levi' jeans
the vintage made in USA are reselling good
