You can get a needle tip for your grease gun and slide it under the top lip of the ball joint boot to grease it.

ITS not it a split pin small tip its notic it is one pice of metal that doubeld over on its self so there is a gap onr leg being longer than the other to help when you fold it back round the frigin nut .A cotter pin is a shaft with an inclind plane on one side and a thred on the othermend so that a nut can be placed on it to pull it through a hole on a coller on ashaft with a in clinde plane so that when one tighens the nut it puls the cotterpin aganst said plane and tighens thus locking them tight to each other and prvent move ment so please tell your Fellow Amercians to get it right .rant over .

Seems like you put the rear breaks on the wrong sides to me. How will you bleed them without removing the wheels with the way you have them. And yes, you do get more stopping force when the calipers are mounted on the front side of the rotor. As an example, imagine what its like running forward with someone hanging onto the back of your shirt, then imagine having running with someone in front of you pushing back at you. What do you think is easiest? Take a look at any Sports car to super car, where are the vast majority of calipers positioned on the rotor?

Two sets of calipers one in front of over size disc other on back of disc. That may provide acceptable stopping power.

Let me tell you what to expect. That Mustang is a rattle trap. When they we new they would rattle on every bump. They smell like exhaust. The interior smells like exhaust. They are old and so it was made when Ford made cars to last 75k miles. At 36k it's worn down.At 50k it's second owner gives up on it. at 75k it's a $500 car. At 100k it's falling apart. I know it seems like it would last if you take care of it but no. It wasn't made to last.I bet that car has 60k miles on it.

Had a 1972 mercury w/ 351 Cleveland with over 150,000 miles. Many parts had been repaired or replaced over the years. I ended up scraping it because it needed both a radiator and water pump as well as the exhaust system needing replacement. It still wanted to go plenty of power but it wasn't financially realistic to invest lots of money in it. THAT car was built for many many more miles than 75k.
