In another timeline (my headcanon), Metroplex not only transfers his Energon to the Ark, but also his Spark onto the Ark. Teletraan-1 incorporates the new spark and merges it's intelligence with and the two are reborn together as Autonomous Maximus.
We may not have gotten Trypticon as the Nemesis, but even thought she got damaged in battle, I'm sure she will somehow return soon in future War For Cybertron story lines with maybe Trypticon, Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Autobot Ark/Teletran 1, Tidal Wave, and Fortress Maximus.
i love the fact that even while Megatron is the leader of the Decepticons and the reason they had to abandon Cybertron, The Ark/Teletran-1 is still an Autobot, and kept him safe while uppercutting the Nemesis.
Admittedly, Kingdom had much better moments than some of the few things people were fond of from the rest of the trilogy, this is definitely one of them

But just because a show is aimed for kids, doesn't mean older people can't watch it. I don't see the issue of adults wanting to watch robots wage war on each other. Take Avatar The Last Airbender for example, the show was intended for kids, but more than half of the fans are adults.

The original animated movie car robots and robots in disguse by the time the the beast trilogy ended before the unicron trilogy came around ive seen it all over the years tv shiw movies and comics wise

"My hero" wasn't a proclamation of love between the two it was a jokey reference to Beast Wars where Rhinox and Rattrap did it in The Agenda Part 3, which was itself a jokey reference to such a scene happening in Superman comics and TV shows.

And BW Scorponok has no lines or personality :/

I love how even Megatron is left dumbstruck when he normally threatens everyone from Omega Supreme to Metro plex. This trilogy is the most loyal depiction of the G1 franchise and Goddam does it deliver all the BEST moments in a mature manner with everyone being a 3 dimensional character. This series did Megatron best as an empathic psychopath.
Personally I call it Automus Maximus based on the last Autobot from the Marvel Comics. Pity it was just one scene but I would’ve loved to see him in a real battle.
