Somehow forgot to mention once you are on your post the player on the outside of the wall will turn around and you just direct him which way you want the wall to move and how far.
What he said about you having to tell your players to get in the wall 10 times was so accurate 😂
Tallest to shortest maximizes protection and visibility at the same time. Near post player always faces keeper to get directions on the position of the wall.
Well, the general rule is that when the FK is being taken from a side (not from the middle of the penalty box), you stand on the closest goalpost and place the first (and tallest) defender outside of the imaginary line between the post and the ball (to cover for a curve ball from the angle closer to the goal) and then place defenders next to that player, in height-descending order, until you can barely see the ball while standing in the middle of the goal.
If the FK is being taken from the middle, good luck! Everyone does a different thing.

Can you do a video on where to position players for a corner, man to man, zone, or hybrid of both. And like specific sections that need to be covered
I can give you a suggestion. Just talk to the coach about set pieces and give all the players their roles beforehand, that will be lot easier than starting a tactical class in the middle of a game where you are telling them 100 times where they should be.

If the shot is right in the middle. How do you place the wall ? And where do you put yourself?
A lot of times I rather have 1 or 2 players on a wall or .. have the wall with some space inbetween each players so that I can actually see the ball and see where it is going to go. I have considered some what many goals due to visibility being blinded beacuse of the compacted wall. I think if you need to put 4-5 players as a wall there should be a gap where I can see the ball clearly.

This is all well and good, but what if your wall is really stupid and doesn’t know their right from left

Take your team on a hiking trip to the top of a mountain. Then blindfold the entire team and place them so the cliff of said mountain is on their left. Tell them all to turn and walk to their right. Whoever went left you now don't have to deal with anymore and you have an entire team of people who know their left from right.

Hi, friend! I'm not an experienced goalkeeper and I want to ask you a question: when should I block a shot with palms and when with fists? Thank you!
I think that u should always try to save with palms except when u want to kick the ball far away from the goal then use fists. Keepers who use fists too often are doing that just to look better and they are usually not really good
@@snakemaster0697 well, you can mark that Neuer often plays with his fists in situations where most of the goalkeepers would play with palms, idk why :) it might be a specific technique or smth else, that's why I asked that question
@@tolyanklaz different countries different techniques, but noone good uses fists for easy saves, that is more for when u can't get to ball in jump or when the shoot is too powerfull
You only punch it on corner kicks and a normal shot TRY to hold but if you can’t just block it :D

The having to call out the number of defenders 10 times is a very true thing that has happened to me a foul got called I called 3 defenders and 2 showed up and then ref blew the whistle so I couldn't do anything about it thankfully they didn't score.

I think if my memory serves correctly, in that Liverpool clip the ref had blown to stop play. He just blew it again while Adrian was still near post.
Yeah the player taking it whispered to the ref and was running to take the shot as the ref blew. Best to have a man or 2 stand in the way of the ball as the wall is being set up.

Practice your left dives by doing them kinda like in slow motion. Then you will start getting confortable
