I am one of the Russian girls from Vladimir who met a foreigner and fell in love (he did not come to Russia to look for a wife:). We got married in Vladimir 2,5 years later and lived another 3 years in Russia before moving to the States. My husband hired a language tutor, learned the bus system, found friends and tried to be as independent as possible. The experience of living in Russa, learning the language and the culture was invaluable for him personally and for our marriage. We celebrated our 20th anniversary this year:)

Hi Sam, fantastic in sight on Russian brides by passing the paperwork!! I think it would be a good idea for foreign men of a certain age to be mandatorily enlisted for military service to learn the language and have fellow comrades (mates) before even being allowed to marry, and get permanent residency… Shocking to hear some foreign guys are just bone lazy. Learning the language and culture is crucial in living in a foreign country. Best wishes 🙏🏻

Made that mistake a dozen times.. Thought that the russian girl was into me, but in reality she was just being super friendly. Extremely common mistake. My policy is that both persons must get to know each other for a year or better, two years before actually marrying. You simply CANNOT know how the person will behave in everyday life after 2 weeks of seeing each other.

Sam - Men have become second to women in the U.S. in terms of workplace and social hierarchy. Many of the married men I know are miserable because they are under appreciated. Their wives boss them around and demand such luxurious lifestyles. Masculinity is fading. Too many are becoming pleasers instead of Do'ers.
Some of the points you mentioned about Russian women wanting to care for the man is how it should be. Traditional marriage. Men are providers and caretakers for the family. Women stay home and raise the kids while men put bread on the table. However, I wouldn't want to jump on the bandwagon to marry a Russian/Slavic woman without having some idea of what I'm getting into. If I were to live in Russia, I would want to have all of the knowledge and information prior to arriving about culture, linguistics, connections, housing, etc. I would feel terrible asking a Russian woman / wife, girlfriend to assist me in my everyday tasks. That's now how I operate. A marriage is suppose to bring two people together to form a strong bond. The foundation of marriage has been replaced with fulfilling needs and desires without putting in the work.
I think Slavic women are more traditional and cultured. That's what I would look for in finding a potential wife. Though as you stated, it should not be the first woman you meet. Take time for yourself and get to learn all that you can before making life changing decisions.

Sam, I agree with your observations about the scarcity mindset. And I would like to add, it's not only the physical beauty of the Russian woman the foreigners become enamoured, it's also the Russian woman lacks the insanity inculcated by feminism. You touched on it when you said the Russian woman is a traditional woman. A traditional woman is a woman who has not been brainwashed with feminism which is actually a thinly veiled anti-male mindset. A Western man coming into Russia having come from the emotional wasteland of his homeland where the women there have measurable contempt for men and think nothing of humiliating them in public and disrespecting them at home. Thus when the Western man is confronted with a Russian woman who instinctually knows how to supply the emotional support the man craves. It's like a man who's been stranded on the desert his whole life who suddenly comes upon an oasis. It is no wonder why the Western man jumps at the opportunity to lock in this fabulous thing he's found.

Thanks for openly sharing your experience with Russian ladies. I have similar experience. I live in the U.S. and have a deep appreciation for Russian traditional culture, which drew me to the country. I encountered a similar situation as you described. My Russian wife is a nice lady and a good friend. My concern is that she only focuses more on her own finances, her son and green card rather than on our relationship and family. I bought her a car in St. Petersburg and brought clothes, books, shoes, jewelry, etc., from America to Russia. I genuinely want to provide a good life for her and my stepson. I ensured we had a joyful and happy summer vacation, and I was happy to do this for my family. However, what disappoints me is that she took everything I did for granted. When I reflect on what she did for me, the answer is nothing. I felt her love, but her way of expressing it was to give the man she loves a chance to do things for her. While I can't say she is selfish, I can't tolerate this imbalance for a long time. So, I quit. God bless her and her family. There is always some space for her in my heart.❤

    • @mossig
      @mossig 6 месяцев назад +1

@@libingye134 There is only one way to test her. You would have to move there and become the wife that she is now. Let her take care of you for a few months and you will see how she takes it.
With their flaws in general you can trust that a Russian women will not leave you, that is a big shame for them. How ever they can make you miserable with their bare tolerance towards you.
It's normal in Russia to cohabit in the same flat and live separate lives later in marriages. Like brother and sister.
Remember that a Russian woman show her love towards you in the little things she do. Taking care of the home etc.
If she never spoke tenderly towards you in Russian, that is a warning sign. "I love you" doesn't count! It has to sound like "ja ljublu tibia" "Umnitsa" "Daragoy" Etc.
Also the fact che has a previous child that is not grown up will always put you on second place. It doesn't matter from what country she will be.
Never ever date and bring home a foreign women with children between the age of 4 and self sufficient. Itä's a terrible thing to do towards the child. Only after her child's self sufficiency you will be her priority.
With infants you are her saviour but that doesn't mean she will be grateful later on.
Oh, two more thing, never bring a foreign woman to live in a big western city with a lot of opportunities.
Never date a woman from major cities, the smaller the place the better, if you can tolerate some lack of knowledge of common things.
Russian women from St. Petersburg and Moscow is unbelievably in to culture. They need, theater, ballet, art and what ever and if you don't have that around it will be hard.
In general though Russian women are educated even from small villages. South east asians and Africans on the other hand, you will have absolutely nothing in common with and that will catch up eventually with boredom.

@@mossig In fact, I went to Russia to find a wife for cultural reasons, because I read a lot about Russian history and literature in college, which developed a cultural preference in me. In fact, I think there are women with different personalities in any ethnic group, country, or region, and it is possible to find a suitable spouse for you. As for the extent to which culture can influence a person, of course this is a very complex topic. Especially in terms of artistic creativity, I agree with you that Westerners have special aesthetic taste. Judging from your reply, it seems that you are trying to find a suitable spouse in various places and cultures. Can you tell me more about your experience in this regard? Because I am still planning to go to a small place in Russia to get a wife, have two children if possible, and try to live in Russia for a long time; and I plan to take the children back to the United States when they are seven or eight years old. If you do home schooling in USA maybe. I would also like to live in Russia but it's not because of the women.
I'm old now and don't like women's personalities, just how they look. I'm not gay. I'm just liberated from the power of the pu**ie. Feels great.
I have two children that is half Russian. They are doing great in Sweden. Mainly because they look Swedish and have a Swedish sir name.
But there is a lot of hatred towards Russians and it makes it difficult for the women. Like Thai they are all perceived as former prostitutes by the public.

Great and clear video, Sam. Your point about the natural beauty of Russian women is valid. Particularly noteworthy is the segment where you highlighted that women in the mentioned countries are considered out of reach, whereas the average woman in Russia and neighboring countries naturally values self-care due to their genetic predisposition. Men, however, may not fare as well, and when a Russian woman pays them attention, they often become blinded by love. Take Milena, for example-undeniably beautiful, causing many to pursue her hastily. The desperation of these men is evident. While I’d also be happy and proud to have a woman like her by my side, I believe in the pragmatic Dutch perspective that there’s more to consider than just a beautiful lady. If you’re interested in a woman from another country, I assume apart from her you’re also interested in getting to know each other better, the family, the country, culture, and language.
But on a different note, I thought your video was about these mail order bride scams. There are plenty of dating agencies specialized in Russian women that also exploit the beauty of these ladies and capitalize on the emotions of these men. This is where things go quite wrong. It's no longer about the human aspect but simply about trying to make as much money as possible, regardless of the immense pain inflicted on these men's hearts. This has to come to an end. Maybe you should make a video about that.

I am married to a Russian woman (from Vladimir, BTW - she still has an apartment there), and we live in the USA. I try even here to learn some Russian, and if we were there, I would be busting my tail to learn Russian and establish some independence, so my wife wouldn't have to do everything...because eventually, they may resent that they have not so much a husband, but a kid.
Plus, I don't want my life controlled to that degree - I am pretty fiercely independent. Even in a good marriage, you need time apart. We dated for over 2 years online, and I went to Russia twice. Even then, you don't know as much as you would like about each other. We are working through things, and she is learning English, but it is not a "snap your fingers and voila" thing. People need to think more. It is still a marriage, subject to the same conditions and stresses as any marriage...and our communication has made issue resolution more challenging.
Living in any country for years (let alone 10) and not learning the language is borderline criminal.
And apart from the papers, Sam, you know as well as I do that many men think with their "little head" instead of the bigger one...seldom a foundation for sound decision-making.

@@SamsRussianAdventures I used 2 sites - one was much less reliable and more scammy, and the other was Elena's Models. They seemed to vet their girls more - of course, a real girl can still be a scammy girl. I met in person 4 different women, dated 3, and married the 4th. Of course, having been with Svetlana for as long as I have now, I haven't been back to the site, so I don't know what is going on there.
I wanted to learn Russian, and I struggled, of course, when I went and was alone, but I did the best I could with the little Russian I knew. I like to say I know about 200 words in Russian (maybe a stretch) and only mispronounce almost all of them. And 40 to 50 of those words are numbers. Cases? Forget it.
But I did get help from a Moscow policeman to ensure I was getting on the Metro on the proper side of the platform, and in St. Petersburg, I actually held about a 3-minute conversation with a cleaning lady for the Airbnb I rented - understood almost nothing, but was able to figure out her brother lived in the USA, she didn't remember which city. I was amazed that with as little percentage comprehension of her words, I was able to understand what I did, and she was very gracious with my terrible "Russkie yazik."
My wife can speak reasonably well in English, but her comprehension of spoken English is still pretty weak - because she listens to Russian all day. I can hear her making lunch in the other room, and her tablet is playing a Russian movie. I am going to bet nobody ever learned a new language by listening to their native tongue - but hey, WTF do I know?

I am in a friendly city in Australia and have heard it from most most people who move here and why same nationalities often stick together.Travellers often stick together as they have that in common and all need that support of needed to build new networks of friends.

@@SamsRussianAdventures Because they never had a female treat them nicely and seem normal and feminine. A starving man loves even a McDonalds hamburger even though he knows it wants to kill him. 35% of males in the US 35 or younger have never had a girlfriend and are virgins. The society has changed radically since the days prior to the 1980s when it was rare to find an adult over 24 who was NOT married, and it was with someone like themselves, probably in the same school district. People married people like themselves and did not expect the man to already be wealthy to even consider marriage. People tended to marry people for their potential and their common community norms, not like now, were every western female has a list of 100 must haves such as over 6 feet tall, over $100, 000 income, when only 14% of the male population, are over 6ft, and single men 2-3 years older than her, who make more than $100,000 a year is 0.001% for marriage and family formation has essentially stopped in societies where US social media dominates.
If normal average guy who has something interesting to say and is polite be will thinking he died and went to heaven when arriving in Russia and every girl he crosses paths with, if he is well mannered, will be friendly to him. Heck, I am a lot older but meet and strike up long time friendships with very attractive fit, and never have problems finding a date with a feminine pleasant highly cultured girl since I meet them daily, every day just taking a walk or going to a new art exhibition. Today exchanged contact info with 12 girls from 20 to 32, at an actors workshop, as the official videographer for the the film directors master class. This was was small, only 31 actors, 5 were males, registered, usually we have a 60 and 85% are females, all accomplished stage actors who attend our training on transitioning to cinema. I very frequently plan nothing, and just walk from my city center home in St Petersburg and know I will meet a very nice interesting female who is happy to hang out with me, going to a jazz club or just sit in an English style pub and talk for hours. When I return to California every 3-5 years for 1-2 week I never meet females who are at all pleasant or interesting. It was not that way 40 years ago, when males and females liked each other. In Russia it is like returning to 3 generations ago, where men and women like each other and appreciate the differences. But Russia also has a lowered birth and marriage rate. The birth rate is increasing in part because of some very helpful and generous assistance by the government to encourage raising a family.
I can certainly understand why western men are taken with Russian girls, it is the nature of the culture to be polite and respectful, and the fact that the average girl in Russia is smart, social, cultured, attractive and not fat. The guy thinks it is the girl when what they are experiencing it is the culture.
I warn western men all the time to not even consider a Russian wife if he intends to take her back to the toxic environment of the US or UK social scene because she will adapt to it and be like western women. It is the culture that determines the traits of the members of the society. If a guy falls for the Russian society, as personified by a girl falls for, he really needs to adopt her society that made her such a desirable mate, because a flexible adaptive man will be a much better person, happier, if he adopts the culture that molded his beloved woman.

Beauty comes from the inside for both women and men. It seems Russian ladies are mostly happy, in harmony and takes life as it comes naturally. I also belive that people treat each other with respect in Russia and that is so important. I countries like US, UK women are focused to much on the outside and equality so I don't think they are "in love" with themselves. And there is a huge difference in manly and womenly "roles". In Russia it seems men are men and women are women. In US and many other countries there are no such roles anymore and actually that doesn't create any beauty amongst humanity.

But of course learning language and some bureaucracy is something all immigrants should do. Have you seen 90 Days Fiance? Here in the Netherlands and I know in other countries as well, feminism is a big thing.
Sure enough Men and women alike have the same rights and obligations but I see in western countries this has gone so far that men have been stripped from their manlyhood.
I have had relationships here in the Netherlands but every time I felt I was in competition.
I want a woman to be female. This does not mean they are only good for doing laundry and cooking diner.
Now I choose to be alone because I do not want to be in a relationship like that and I do not believe in long-distance relationships.
I want to make it so that I have enough money to live abroad and then move. Russia is indeed on the list but I move there for the people, not for the women.
Sure I would like to meet a woman. but first I will move there. However..... At this moment it seems that life is taking me in a different direction and I first want to explore that.

Come on! Don't be so hard on foreign men. As in America they are escaping the insanity of most women and woke behaviors. Russian women make it easy to fall in love with them. First it may be appearance. But men are overwhelmed by the hospitality and honesty of a Russian women. If I met a traditional Russian woman that came to America. There is a good chance I would marry her. Even though marriage is off the table. Just rather have a live in girlfriend. They are just better fitted for men. Than American women.
I think you are wrong about that. I know of people that got married. Maybe some are like that. But not all. As I myself have spoken to some. This is why you are wrong for the most part? Marriage is not just for love. Is about convenience too. It's about putting resources together without conflict for a better life. I don't see anything wrong with that.
I perhaps will visit Russia. But not live there. My home is the United States. Although America has many problems. For me as a patriot that served in the arm forces. It is worth fighting for some sense of stability here in the US and the corruption that is going on. I'm a countrymen fighting for the rights of the American people that is being eroded.

We have second Amendment. That is design to have the right to protect ourselves with firearms. From robbers, killers and foreign and domestic adversaries. Even if those adversaries is our own government that became tyrannical. It's not what America is that I'm protecting. It's what it could be from the constitution created by our founding fathers.

Now she is doing better and living a happy life together. He is investing in land projects in Russia. I don't see anything wrong with that. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your point of view.

@@SamsRussianAdventures that's a long story but I'll try explain by text. I made a profile on an international site just to meet people and make friends and learn about other's. Of course I never expected anything from it, just beautiful models trying to scam, that's all it was at start so I ignored it. Fast forward a year as I was bored one day and I logged on just to see who wanted to scam me 😂. And yea lots of spam message and people that didn't even bother to read my profile as I listed I am not looking yo date etc and I had a message from a beautiful Russian so I thought here we go again... ( this is normal for date sites but I believe in trying to give everyone the benefit of doubt so I read each message) and I had a normal message from a normal person who I could see read my profile and just wanted the same, also she had a picture of her and a baby and that is a no no on fate sites but it showed she was not a model trying to pull, it was honest. So we messaged the next day and continued from there. Rest is a longer story. Naturally I was always concerned as I new little about Russians apart from the fact I don't trust them etc etc you know the feeling. As I said I get what you was saying and I even agree sadly but I 100% did not date her because I wanted to move to Russia. I'm from Devon so Russia was a big downgrade. When we realised we liked eachother after many talks on Skype etc we had to decide how can we be together, do I go and live there or she come to England ( normally what happens, Russians move) but in this case after studying Russian culture we decided if we had any sort of future we would need to meet and I would probably move there as I didn't have much keeping me in England. Rest is history, 2 years later and 4 trips total, we both finally gained are goal and that was to be together and have a future. This is both of are agenda, family and future in a house in the country and a confer table life. 8 years later that is exactly where we are, still happy, baby girl age of 2 now. All genuine, no tricks as it would of been a waste of both are time and money etc and I still could not be happier. Yes it came at a price I lost a lot leaving England but I gained what I could only dream of in English. Houses are way way more expensive so it was just a dream and finding a good woman 😆 but here I gained both. So after watching this video it made me realise why you think what you do ( as I said I understand and agree) but it also made me feel like I am one of these planks or I am using my wife or something when none of it is true.. I think you pre judged me before you even bothered to talk to me and it was a bit of a stereo type attitude even tho it is true for the most part. Many people Russians and my friends back in England all love my story as its prof that 2 people from different worlds can meat and have a future etc. Also I had no money so everything I did I did from being positive and trying to build a future instead of finding excuses why I can't etc. Date sites are a joke I'm afraid but they can work as I am here lol but it is not an easy path. I was simply very lucky and found right person at right time etc. That's all I can say by text 😂😂😂 but I felt pre judged and annoyed

You can have that if you like as we don't use it!" then it's really hard. Her playing violin recitals, reciting poetry and playing the piano didn't help. :-D
