  • I found very little about this reel before I purchased it so I am sharing my thoughts to hopefully help others.
The engineering and quality of the reel is great but I feel like I cant really get the most out of it because I want to cast when I am in shallow water to cover more water.
My use case is kayak jigging in Sydney and I am unfortunately finding that vertical jigging in really shallow water (under 20m) has limited opportunity to be effective.

It is so nice, but I need to find some deeper spots to try it more. Long reef is like 15m deep where the action seems to happen most consistently 🥲

Shame about the reel but cant be too upset with a nice kingy!
Great stuff as per usual, keep up the good stuff

It's such a cool reel.. just not that useful in the depths I can get to in my kayak 😅

Impressive reel, I'd say if you like those type, it's a good deal. As you say, maybe not for casting but drop jigging. Still, got a few fish so it's pays itself off. Well done.

Looks like you used all your netting mojo on the bass adventure

This is actually my signature move called "hook the net" into a "double net flip" and an "almost lose the fish"... very advanced net technique
