Hey bro just want to say keep up the good work! You’re one of my fave fishing channels, you’re just one of us, trying out new stuff and teaching us bits here and there as well! Stay safe out there and tight lines!
Thanks for the feedback, I hope people enjoy the channel and if they can learn something that's even better! I learnt to fish off the tube so it's good I can return the favour
Good stuff brother, you know the area well. That garmin souder is an awesome unit. You helped me refine mine. Goodfew fish as well. Eventually i will have a look around there. Conditions on the water are settling with cooler weather. Hopefully there's fish about then... 😁
@cballzoutdoors Hehehehe...need an electric trolling motor...or just be thankful your knees and legs are still good. I'd probably not even get as far as the sand dragging a kayak from the car.😂😂
Number 1 depends on your size. In 186cm tall and 110kg. This is a great kayak because of secondary stability but has almost no primary stability for someone of my size (meaning no standing). The revolution also has no built in rails so you will need to drill all of your mounts in. I sacrifice things like standing and storage because this is the fastest option that I bought to go offshore. If you are primarily in estuaries and need lots of storage, and want to stand in calm conditions an outback would be good. If you are happy sorting your own storage a lynx would be good and it's very light and easy to stand in based on people I have talked to
@@cballzoutdoors i’m 175 and 65kg so pretty small but storage is definitely something i care about im not concerned about standing however. what model would be cheapest for good storage and okay price?
What’s kind of kayak you use. I just have a simple ocean kayak in mine which is standard paddle. 😊that was a good watch. New to the channel dropped you a sub. Maybe I can take some of your points into my videos ❤
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed. The Kayak is a Hobie Revolution 13. Positives on the water is pedalling around while you are hooked up, especially near the reef. Negatives are weight and storage for launch. I couldn't see myself doing a surf launch for example
It's 14.5ft. But paddling was a killer for me which is why I bit a $2000 bullet and bought one second hand. I haven't looked back and am tempted to get another!!
Great stuff as always mate! love the map overlay really rad
Keep up the good stuff
I hope it helps a few people out with ideas at least!
nice video as always mate! looking forward to seeing some more videos to come. 😉
Maybe some where I catch bream for a change!! More than one at least 😅

On the boat you'll have more options too! There are a few spots I want to checkout but couldn't do them all with the my current motor 🦵

@@cballzoutdoors heard of Hobie. What length is it? May look into an upgrade. Need a paddle yak the whole paddling gets annoying after a bit
