This is the exact content i'm looking for, I love the fact you also mention all equipment used so an inexperienced individual like myself can have a closer understanding of what to use! Keep up the good work man 0:47 in my first video from you and i've already subscribed haha!
May i please know the knot youre using between the leader and the jig? Ive been using uni knots my whole life what you used looks like a refreshing change
What braid to leader knot are you using? I usually fish freshwater w/ 4lb mono and 0.8PE braid so double uni is good enough, but it seems to not work as well with the two significantly different line thicknesses of 10lb fluoro and 0.8PE braid
Great piece of kit and awesome session! I'm putting together a micro jigging combo and need to decide on the spool size and braid width. Which of these would you recommend? - 150m pe0.8 (shimano 2500s) - 200m pe0.6 (shimano 2500s) - 250m pe0.8 (shimano 3000m) - 200m pe1 (shimano 3000m) Thanks for any help!
What model of jig and rod are you usint? Ive started to accumulate micro jigs of different widths and weights and i cant for the life of me fogure out what im supposed to be doing with them. Steady retrieve, pulse, speed .... It doesnt help that im using a 8.1 speed reel
To add to that, I am using the jackall back slider, but it only came with forward assist hooks and nothing on the back eye. Am I supposed to put more hooks there?
I have an Ajing rod rated for 1-14 gram lures (Abu Garcia Salty Field SFS-735L-TE), do you think a 10 gram jig like you are using is safe to use or should i use a lure more in the middle of the recommended rating at 7g?
awesome video! what is the water depth and how you choose what colour is the jig you gonna use?i cant figure out why such different colours are that succesfull ...its almost fish there dont react to jig colour at all....tight lines my friend!!
Im fishing in 5m of water. The jig colour depends on the weather conditions. If it’s clear and sunny try a natural colour and on overcast days try a bright or dark colour. Hope this helps and thanks for watching. 🤝
@@LightTackleAddict No worries. Went to the pier other across from where this was and there seems to be at least one bonito and even more macks caught just when I am there.
Hey man I’m looking to get into the same type of fishing, would you recommend the same setup as yours? Also where are you getting the jigs from? Having trouble finding them that small. Great video, subbed, keep up the content.
Hey hey there. That is a beautiful collection of spoon. I don't think I ever see anything like thathe only thing that would be better than you. Having them is you passing them to me, but we don't know each other. Good luck with them. Of course, I wish you the best. Now let me watch the rest of the show
Nice gear, cool technique and a good little session Man - it’s hard to watch you continually turning the handle and putting unnecessary twist in ur line when a fish is taking drag and winning……😅 Need to turn that drag down some more and put some heat on ur quarry with ur high end gear And wind when he is not pulling string
Hey bro thanks for watching and commenting. Didn’t want to put too much pressure since it was 12lb leader and light gauge assist hooks but it got the job done! 😂
im a ultra light fishing crackhead i have issues i need help just got a exist SF SLP WORKS with a UL salty sensation rod using 3 to 5 grams irons/jig head and i catch bonefish with it and bonita and macs cudas mullet bass sea bass.. its so fun i haven't touched my normal bass style size rods and reel its not fun just wrenching in the fish , i want my reel to scream and line peeling and nice parabolic bend on the tubular rod
@@LightTackleAddict i rate it as good very good light weight but the price is very heavy lol i even use super ultra light for bone fish and sea bass up to 6+ pounders .. our bone fish only max out at 20 inch and most are under 15 inch...only way to have fun is UL rod with 0.3 to 0.5 pe line... but i recommend not to use it if fish banking since fish can drag to to the drop off and cut you off. fish will run with this set up no bass master wrenching it in
Pelegic fishes always gave us satisfaction when we hook em. I love your videos and i love light game fishing too.
Thanks for watching bro 🤝
I love bringing one light setup so when the day gets slow you can always throw a small jig and catch whatever.
that was just too wholesome at the end.. much love

I use a uni knot to tie the jig 😂. Thanks for the comment!
I recommend using a relix knot or SC knot.
I use my own knot
Rapala knot
That looks like a uni?
Nice! LSJ is the best and my favorite method. Tight lines.
Can’t wait for more videos man I love it! That combo is also really nice looking into one myself
Such a sick combo for throwing small lures. Thanks for watching bro 🤝

Hey mate! Are you from Melb or Adel? I'm from Melb.
Where’d you get that handle
Nice job on that tuna. Do you beef up the hooks & rings or are they standard lures.?
Most lure are made in China…I always put decent rings on ..some hooks are ok some not so much so that’s down to you to decide
Was running the standard but it’s always good to beef up the terminals just incase 💪
