when turning across traffic you must yield to the other lane, a biker getting off and stopping traffic to allow everyone else to turn is illegal

Watching these motorcycle videos, being a rider myself, most of these close incidents are caused.... BY THE BIKERS and here's why. If you are not in the sight line of the vehicles near/by you, they more than likely can't see you. NEVER ride in the center of the lane, ride on either the left or the right of the lane so others can see you in thier mirrors, that will lower the number of these incidents big-time

but then all the drama queens wouldn't have this much to complain about 😅 i also ride and one very important thing my teacher told me is, never ride in the blind spot of someone for longer than necessary. just fall back or go besides them and yes it would be that simple. but they don't care because they think the road belongs to them.
Also its quite hard to see a biker when they are traveling twice the speed limit and zig zagging in and out of cars (lane splitting) and people are not constantly starring into their rearview mirrors 100% of the time for obvious reasons so by the time we see a biker he is already at the point of collision. Funny how some bikers never take that into account.

I would never ride in a group this big. A bike meet is one thing but group rides like this are dangerous. Know who you are riding with.

Personally, I don't get smacking mirrors. You are mad at them for driving dangerously so you will now drive dangerously in order to ensure that they have to drive even more dangerously until they can fix it.

I understand when it's undeniably on purpose but if you could be in someone's blind spot on a much smaller vehicle that could be easily missed, it's not right to speed up and steer one handed, and distracted just to smack a mirror if you truly are worried about your own safety. It's just uncontrolled ape level road rage in my opinion.
Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Not every little thing should be mirror smacking worthy but if someone cut me off like that and then proceded to give me the finger that thing is going flying.

2:07 The Yorkshire Hero.....you do know that's not a give way line right? The sensible (and courteous) thing to do there would be to move over into the *empty* outside line in order to let the vehicle in the filter lane merge without incident. If you keep doing things like that you'll be dead in not very long.
Wrong, Wrong and wrong.
There is no obligation for the vehicle on the main carriage way to do anything, the responsibility is completely the responsibility of the merging vehicle to join safely. Having said that I agree that the courteous thing to do would be for the biker to move over. It worries me that so many people actually liked your comment that I actually double checked the rules just incase I was wrong, and I'm not.

And if you really want to abide by all the rules then the rule that the car will squash a bike, sometimes without the driver even noticing, is true every time. So, you go ahead obeying all the rules and we'll see how long you live, eh? I strongly suspect your last words will be gurgled and will be something like "But I had right of way..."
I agree, As Nigel Heath has said on a few comments, Its not law to move over but it is the courteous thing to do, Also he just sat in the cars blind spot and then complained when the driver didn't see him.

Just saw the trash throwing incident. This rider handled the car almost cutting in front of him and the trash thrower with class. I can truly respect this rider.
I’ve been cut off while driving my cars and my motorcycle. Not one time did I ever get angry. More than likely I was in a blind spot and went unseen. To get upset, cause property damage and chase someone down is ROAD RAGE! Road rage has caused many many deaths and most of these angry riders need to humble themselves. There is no class in retaliating for what was more than likely not intentional. When you are riding your cycle at 35mph and someone pulls out 200 yards ahead of you and you accelerate to catch up and yell at them reflects very poorly on you because you want to post a video. I’m sure in your riding you probably have done something that didn’t sit well with other drivers. Do you want them to chase you down and smash put exhaust pipes and kick your cycle? I’ve seen some riders here that have been so polite to the offending driver and this is like it should be.
If you went unseen because in a blind spot, that's on them for not checking said blind spot. When taking a turn or changing lane, it is mandatory to turn your head and check those blind spots to make sure no one is there, they're the ones making a big mistake that could cost someone's life. I've had my driver license for 13 years now and I only got one situation in those 13 years where I got myself honked by a biker because I didn't see him, because I didn't check my blind spots correctly, and I immediately apologized for it because I was the one at fault for not making the proper checks before changing lanes.
Blind spots aren't an excuse, they're the cause, and they could be avoided if those reckless drivers turned their head just 90° to check if no one is there.
@@HysteryProduction While what you said is absolutely true as a biker you have to remember that people often don't do what they are supposed to do and it is you the biker who's life is ultimately at risk so not riding in blind spots and leaving yourself a way out to safety is far more important to your life than it is there's they probably wont even feel the hit

I will never understand someone coming up on an on ramp, seeing they’re in the cars blind spot and not moving over, speeding up or slowing down.

I really hope that you are not a UK driver making that comment, you are completely wrong. It is the responsibility of the merging vehicle to find a safe space to merge. There is absolutely no obligation on the driver/rider on the main carriage way to do anything apart from carry on. Having said that it would have been polite to move over if safe to let him join but he doesn't have to. It does however bother me that it looks like the bikers mirrors are folded in and that's just stupid.
Wrong. It is the duty of the vehicle merging into ongoing traffic to regulate their speed to merge safely, not just bulldoze their way into ongoing traffic. If there was vehicles to the right of the biker already on the motorway, the person "force merging" would be responsible for multiple collisions or even a death. it is optional and considered "road etiquet" when on the motorway to move over to the right when approaching a merging junction but it is not mandatory and no way compulsory as they would be legally able to stay in that lane because "merging traffic SHOULD and MUST and ALWAYS merge when it is safe to do so.
Doesn’t help matters that the bike was clearly in the mirror blind spot, and maintained speed, keeping himself in the blind spot. A brief deceleration, and the driver could have seen him.
Still, should have shoulder looked first to confirm before switching lanes.
You don’t have to, the person joining the motorway has to blend by matching speed, indicating moving Into an appropriate gap.

As a biker you should expect everything like what we see here.
If a car is on a side road, it will pull out on you.
If a car is in front of you, it will slam on the brakes.
If a car is in a lane, it will snap lane change at the worst moment, never ride beside a car.
If a car driver looks right at you in your eye while waiting to turn in front of you, he didn't see you and will turn in front of you.
As you go beside a car, it will move over on you.
If you slow because of a car turning up ahead is blocking the road, the car behind you will start driving really close to your rear tyre and not see the car ahead blocking the lane.

Tutorial on how to prevent key theft-
Step 1: make intense eye contact,
Step 2: very tightly grasp the hand that has the key
Step 3: awkward silence.
Step 4: if they haven't given keys back yet proceed to incomprehensibly scream in a random language of your choice.

I've been a rider for quite a few years now, and 1 thing I would like everyone who rides to know, carry a taser with you so if anyone tries to take your keys just zap them and call the cops, there is also no need to chase people down to confront them, for 1 it is very dangerous and can escalate quickly, for 2 if you are able to chase them down after a near miss then obviously you're ok so let it go just breathe check your pants and remain calm as possible, I know it's a tough deal but ultimately you'll enjoy your ride more often if you don't allow yourselves to be consumed with grief and frustration over idiots on the road, also carry a taser or taser gun, works wonders lol...Believe me one hit from a taser is all it takes to make privileged idiots think twice...

2:09 The irony here. The mirrors on that bike are flipped up, so they can't be used. The person on the bike gets mad because the person in the car doesn't see them in their mirror. All they had to do was slow down, it was obvious the car was going to merge. Car couldn't see them because of the angle, bike moved into their blind spot when they straightened out. Actually dumb.

i actually once got into a school fight, apparently my teacher told me I'm allowed to bring my friends (that were approximately 20 of my friends)
but here's the start
me and my friends were in this Off-Road
apparently my girlfriend came super quick, due to the bully coming to hurt me, so i told myself "what does this bully want?" she replied with "he wants to fight you" which then i get my friends to group up, and then they had to hide so then i could be the one, and by that. They came (with their ugly Moped that was not design for off-road and they had no chance of surviving with in the forest)
so then we both Trash-Talked about 2 hours and then he said to meet up in the back of the school, which then was the greatest thing they wanted (little did they knew they thought i was the only one and with my Girlfriend, well my friends were hearing it)
and then about 1 day later, we met at the back of the school i came riding down with my Friends the bullies had only 5 between a group of 20 friends
and then we circled them around with our bikes making them scared enough one of them hit my bike and then the unthinkable way of goodness, the teacher came and told the bully to get out and that they would all be separated from eachother to go to different schools
which made my heart feel happiness, and so we went back home peacefully
meeting my girlfriend and hugging her knowing i was safe and sound.

Bikers get pissed after hanging in the blind spot, then while illegally filtering between double lines, and being so entitled as a group that they can't follows rules of the road a common decency to allow a car with right of way to pass, and then blame the girl after threatening to hit her with the bike
