Remove injector. Connect 9v battery to injector leads via alligator clips to open injection. Spray to clean with WD-40. Should make a nice fan spray when clean. Replace like new.
Was your single cam motor smelling rich before the replacement? Just did a fresh rebuild on my 1993 del sol. She runs fine with no codes. But it still smells rich. Might replace my injectors
Could be your injectors or Dizzy timing, even the spark plugs. Sometimes running a slightly hotter spark plug could help. But I’m thinking it’s your dizzy or maybe injector.
I honestly just rely on the website to tell me if it fits my car. Or you can go to any online part store like O’Reilly’s or RockAuto and check the part numbers.

If 1 fits they should all fit the same.. make sure to check if you didn’t leave any o rings in and also make sure your new fuel injectors are exactly the same as the old ones I made that mistake and I ordered the wrong pair of fuel injector and after I looked for oem ones that went it easy
@@TONI5-25 so itried doing it again & this time 3 of them went in good but now 1 is giving me trouble… also when iwent back to take them out to try to put them in again the plastic part w the gasket that goes on the tip of the fuel injectors going in the intake got stuck inside n Ihad to pull them out
@@VictorRodriguez-nq9xc keep trying dude cars a tricky and sometimes it just requires a good amount wriggling to get it in. Plus if 3 of the injectiors fit and they all look the same, it's probably an obstruction of some sort in the injector housing blocking it from sitting in flush, like OP said, old oil ring maybe? Try take a good close up picture of it on your phone with flash on and see what's going on through that
I took my 2004honda civic to honda dealership ,the engine light was on they told me i had a misfire u need to change your fuel injectors they wanted to charge me 1800, I had a friend of mine do it ,and I gave him 200 ,but anyway that light came later on.
@@timhill1196 just take the gas cap off. If you wanna take the extra step to really de-pressurize you cane remove the main relay n then run the car til it dies. But thats extra work to avoid a little spillage.

I got injectors for my d16y7 from the same guy. Do these have to be programed into the ecu or is it straight plug and play. This is my first time I'm a virgin
It was ebay's fault. The fuel injectors were listed for my car and had a check mark that it would fit. I got a full refund and was given the right part. Thanks for watching!

A little silicone spray on the o-rings to keep them from binding when installing the injectors.

my injectors didn't fit either at 1st but it came with a conversion harness.

a misfire can be due to bad spark plugs, distributor or plug wires. keep trying..
