Thanks for the free TV quality series guys. just awesome! PS: as someone from Vancouver Canada, those "international" gas prices don't sound too bad XD
This episode is my favorite so far in this south american expedition.. because of the salt flat and the camraderie with the soldiers... didn't realise I was smiling while I saw the interaction between the crew and the soldiers... :)
XO, this, along with your Costa Rica episode, are probably your best episodes ever. The beauty of the countryside, the epic remoteness, the cinematography, the music are all astounding.
I was low key sad at 9:26 when X3 didn't turn on a second LED bar. But hands down this episode had the best cinematography I have ever seen! Awesome work team
Longtime subscriber first-time commenter. Thank you for taking me on a trip across South America. Now if you don't mind...initiate thrusters, flaps at 20% and get ready to take off to the next episode! awesome work guys.
Awesome episode! Again guys thank you very much for admire my country. On behalf of Bolivia I want to apologize for the lack of gas and some inappropriate behavior. Government is a big problem in our country and its full of corruption. Bolivia have 70% of Lithium reserves in the world. Some experts say Bolivia could be the next Dubai. The problem is that the government is not allowing any Lithium Exploration in Bolivia because they want to have total control so companies lose interest in investing in Bolivia and one of the reasons is because they want to steal all that Lithium money once they learn how to do it. The problem is that they are taking too much time so Bolivia is going to waste the opportunity to the biggest Lithium producer in the world and Battery Manufacturers are going to look into new technologies that doesn't require Lithium just because corruption. Thanks again guys! and I hope you go back to Bolivia! :) Keep the beautiful job!
You guys should do an expedition in Africa, do a couple of countries like South Africa and Rwanda or something! The remoteness, varying geographical locations, wildlife, and potential great off road sections would make for great episodes!
YES! They should go to Namibia, Bostwana, and Zambia, like Alby Mangles did in the 1970s. They could even paramotor over the Victoria Falls. That would be uber epic.
Yeah and maybe they can go to the Congo. I’ve heard the kidnapping scene is definitely worth checking out. Also all of the AP mines add a sense of adventure to any trip
Brings back great memories from last year. That's the problem with a good video team...it makes you rethink about doing it all over. Keep up great work. - Calgary
As a photographer, I was blown away by the nighttime Milky Way photographs in the middle of this video. Simply amazing and beautiful. And as veteran I loved your interaction with the soldiers. Really cool exchanging patches and hats.
So crazy how beautiful and strange that place is. I'm really glad you took the time you did to get the shots that you got. I know fatigue and effort are always at odds during the long hours of shoots. Thanks for your dedication to great cinematography.
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. That salt flat and the island were surreal. I still can't comprehend the island being under the sea 2.1 squillion years ago...coral at that altitude. Keep those vids coming Clay.
Man what a great episode. Such a shame you had gas problems in Bolivia. You guys are living the dream. I’m happy for you guys. One day I’ll fulfill my dream.
Very cool! Those salt flats were amazing, and big kudos for the information on them in detail. Gave a much better picture... I can see why that was a stop!
I stumbled onto the XO channel and it has been exactly what I have been looking for in life. I dream of visiting all of those places to see and experience the cultures. Great Job on this series. It is so hard to wait until next Friday.
I have some to learn that it is usually the remotest places that are often the most stunning. Even if there is not much visually in regard to the topography, being there at the right time is what makes all the difference. Whether it be a sunrise over a secluded lake, a sunset dipping behind a mountain peak, or the night sky in the middle of a flat desert, these are the places and times that call to me. Amazing episode, XO! I cannot wait to see the journey continue.
I love you guys and gals! Your videos are awesome! Never stop exploring! I could, if I had the time, watch a new video of your expeditions everyday 3 times a day! Keep up the good work! A fan from Ontario, Canada.
Fantastic series! I"ve been watching this from the beginning. At 2:21 of this video, he's complaining about a $1.10 to $1.25 a litre for gas... Well, better not plan a trip to Ontario Canada, where in some cities that's the standard price. fantastic episode. All and all, great camera work, narration and editing. Gold Stars!
That's an amazing view of the stars. I need that car wash please! The volcano top is amazing. I would have been scared to camp on the salt after dude fell through. Awesome trip guys.
I'm unable to travel at the moment, but one day, I'd like to, you guys and gals inspire me to want to chase after that. Reminds me of how big the world is, how unique the world is, and how much it has to share. That there is more to this world, than just going to work, getting stuck in traffic, being yelled out by corporate bosses.
You guys inspire me to do this someday. I’m 18 right now and life is expensive so it will be awhile until I can build something like that Tacoma. It’s beautiful!
muy buen episodio. Los valores de gasolina varían para bolivianos y para extranjeros, porque la primera es subvencionada y más barata. Maravillosos los paisajes y la calidad de video, felicitaciones 👍👍👍
Love the videos will you do more of the personal stories of the crew as in previous seasons in this series? I’m sure many viewers are also interested in why Scott and his wife left the team. It just feels like an untold story.
Great episode! Side note though, you have to be at an altitude of at least 50,000 feet to see the curvature of the earth. The only way to experience the sight at lower altitudes would be the ship disappearing over the horizon type situation.
All the talk about fuel prices, I was expecting to hear the "International" price in the $7-8 range. Out here in California, we are used to seeing prices float between $3-5 per gallon. Never heard of stations flat-out rejecting customers though.
Hey crew, thanks for tuning in! Bolivia is one cool place!!
Thanks for the free TV quality series guys. just awesome!
PS: as someone from Vancouver Canada, those "international" gas prices don't sound too bad XD

XO, this, along with your Costa Rica episode, are probably your best episodes ever. The beauty of the countryside, the epic remoteness, the cinematography, the music are all astounding.
The island was amazing when you see it from the drone shot and the salt flats all around it! Very cool!
Christian Adventure Films: yea I admit tht was one of their best shots!
Hands down the best episode of the series so far. This episode equals the Alaskan/Canadian expeditions that you have done.
I think so too
THE SALAR DE UYUINI IS AWESOME!!!! Island on the salt flats, MIND-BLOWN MIND-BLOWN. Bolivia, here I come!!

ProRallyDriver Your country is amazing and the people super kind! We heard over and over how frustrated Bolivians were about the government.
And they hate America. That's why the Communist are flying Bolivians into Mexico City. They hate whites.
Certainly a unique place within a unique place! Thank you for sharing this. Well done!

As a photographer, I was blown away by the nighttime Milky Way photographs in the middle of this video. Simply amazing and beautiful. And as veteran I loved your interaction with the soldiers. Really cool exchanging patches and hats.
You all are blessed. Awesome!!
Wow!!! What a beautiful place is Bolivia. Great video guys can't wait for the next episode. God Bless everyone.
$4,50 a Gallon ? That sounds like a freakin great deal, when you are used to German gas prices.
Agreed. $8-9 per gallon is highway robbery. That's the price they pay for free college education.
So crazy how beautiful and strange that place is. I'm really glad you took the time you did to get the shots that you got. I know fatigue and effort are always at odds during the long hours of shoots. Thanks for your dedication to great cinematography.

Lucas Pato gracias por explicar la razón por la cual no les vendían petróleo. Apenas me iba a meter al Google para investigar XD
Another great video. Looks like you cleaned the rigs before you went onto the Salar de Uyni salt flats, did you clean then after?
Love these videos. I would watch these if they were 2 hours a piece. Just love how you do them
Good to see Pam Beasley made the trip.
