Thanks Alex for the message about how as we age we need resistance training to build back up the muscle our body wants to break down. That is exactly what got me into exercising to help lose weight and build muscle. I saw how balance and strength were becoming a major issue with my elderly mother and didn't want to be in that shape myself.
This channel came into my head today whilst in the gym. Three years ago I was a skinny nervous lad who drank too much and didn't know how to better myself. A few months ago, I decided to start turning things around and taking care of myself. Getting over the depression from covid causing me to lose my job and apartment in 2020, the massive weight I had gained, and relationship troubles I had from it all. I was 205 and obese at my highest weight, and now I'm about 135 and the most fit I've been in my entire life. I've never had visible and defined abs before. TBP workout seven days a week, the standard chicken/rice/broccoli/protein shake diet, and three months later, the transformation is ridiculous. Sometimes, it's hard to believe, I think it's in my head, but everyone's complimented me and assured me it's all quite real. I'm not sure what my point is or anything. I suppose I just want to say thanks, and for anyone who wants to make a change, all you need to do is eat well and do half an hour of cardio every day or most days of the week. It's almost stupid how easy it is, although the key is to keep your motivation going and to commit to it every day. But you don't need any technical skill or knowledge, you don't have to be smart, you don't have to be special, you just have to do it.
Injured my lower back about 6 months ago and I'm finally feeling well enough to start building muscle. I immediately thought of Team Body Project, and this workout was just right! Appreciate it!
I have been lifting med to heavyweights for 45 years, I found TBP right before 2020 and loved the workouts. I have learned I don’t need to lift heavy anymore or spend money for a gym membership when I can get wonderful workouts like this.😊 I have now added this video to my rotation!

I love you guys so much. This was a perfect level of difficulty for me. I'm not exactly a novice but I'm not extremely strong, and it's great to know I can always increase the difficulty with faster reps or bigger weights, but also that my little weights and slow reps are *fine* Not a single time in this video did these three women mention weight or size. That's why I love this channel. It's about actual health. You talked about bone strength and posture and encouraged me to slow down and modify, not ever to ignore the pain and push too hard.
I know Daniel isn't in this video but I just have to say that these workouts are amazing all of Daniel's words of inspiration & motivation are literally perfect timing. I just did a 45 minute workout with one of body project's videos and every time I was ready to put my hands down Daniel said push through it, come on and I did. As if he was right there next to me pushing me and I completed it the whole video. I've done other workout videos from other channels but I've never felt happy ending those workouts and every single time with body project videos I am tired, I'm sweating but I'm happy! I feel like I did it I succeeded and I'm just so grateful that I came across body project and Daniel.

I did this workout and it was a really good one…not too strenuous and kept a good heart rate! I love what you said in the beginning about losing muscle as we age…so, so true! We don’t have to kill ourselves to get and keep some muscle on…just be consistent! Thanks, for a great workout!

Whoa ! Another fantastic workout from Alex and the TBP team. Absolutely loved this routine. It was tough. Who says low impact isn't as effective as high impact. Some great new combo exercises that really challenge the muscle groups. I will definitely be adding this to my regular TBP workouts. This was such a good workout! I used various weights from 2 lbs up to 12 lbs for this routine. This was really challenging and enjoyable 💪My muscles feel like jello now 😅

This workout made me sweat it’s so good and fun to do when I workout alone 🎉 normally I avoid Alex but this time I’m glad I didn’t, it didn’t make my shoulders hurt too bad (Maybe because I used two 16 oz water bottles as my weights) but 10/10
