@@DanielAllen45 oh no you dont like it? Thats what I have now, from the note 20 ultra. Ive always have the galaxy s line since the came out, but switched over to the notes at the note 9. So i had the note 9, 10, 20 ultra, and now the 23ultra, i know the s23 ultra isnt called a note lol but to me thats what it is... what didnt you like about it? Ive never had any of the foldables, but would love to have one. Not to keen on the flips, but the foldable is a yes for me. I just wish they would make the folds with a built in Spen, to me that would most definitely seal the deal, and be a game changer for a lot of people. Cause once you have that Spen, even if you dont use it very much, you dont wanna go without it 😂😂
Fold 4 is a big phone. So if you never had one of them huge phones. Be ready fold 5 is definitely smaller but still a big phone. I cant wait to see the real one model. Big fan ofbthe folding phones 😊

That is why I took my time upgrading into Ultra S-series phones. Then they finally impressively improved S23 camera and Snapdragon 8 G2 chip, so I had to take the bate! Enjoying having the 2023 King Phone!
Me too. And the screensize is way to small. Unfolded atleast as big as the S23. If not i will not buy anything from Samsung anymore. Even send the dishwasher back.

This is my same argument. I bought both ultra and fold; I rarely use the fold because I want the best camera with me if I can only chose one. The ultra also has a better visual width imo.
Google's fold did a good job of this with a better width, but they aren't near level of Samsung yet.

I want it so bad. But I'm only going to switch to Z Fold when the S-Pen is built in. I hope this happens with Z Fold 6. Now I have the S22 Ultra (European Model) you know why I'm not want to use this device for many years... 🔋 My previous the Note 9 was 4 years in use.
Built-in SPen and similar cameras (or better) with the S ultra and I'll be sold. Narrow cover screen probably won't bother me, as I assume I'd be using the inside screen more often, working from home.
@Clyde Bryon Oquindo I've had the Z Fold 3 for two weeks and I can say about my experience that I was using both screens. It's pretty much about where you are. But the cover screen was in many apps too slim for normal use. Good that this changed with Z Fold 4 and even more it is going to be better with Z Fold 5. And my reason for sending back was no surprise the camera and the not built in S-Pen. But I'm missing the ability of the inner screen every day.
My Note 9 will be 5 years old in August.

I love the fold. I’ve owned the 1,2 and 4. I have to say I prefer the iPhone 14 pro right now. It’s too heavy and all the apps aren’t optimized for the screen. Especially RUclips. It is very frustrating.
? I can understand and agree with certain apps not being optimized, but youtube? Thats one of the very few apps that is optimized for it lol.
I'm fine upgrading my Z Fold until they make the cover display as wide as their S line up and have the best cameras because what we're paying and what we're getting isn't adding up

@THANOS. 🏳️🌈⃠ It's a tablet...the point is to have a full-fledged phone AND tablet in one form factor. Having a small cover screen takes away from that. And again, it's a tablet. The screen is supposed to be abnormally large.

3. battery life depends on usage. 6hrs with heavy stuff and will run hot

Guess I'm the only one that doesn't really have a problem with the crease. The weight is manageable for me cus I just hold it all the way and my pockets are big enough lol. The hinge is definitely a big upgrade but not for me personally. Don't get me wrong these are very good upgrades but I'll skip this time

Wasn’t the gap between the displays on purpose to prevent dust and sand from damaging the screen when closed?
I still prefer the little gap in the fold 4 since dust can just slide out of it instead of crunching your screen up

These are minor and mediocre upgrades. I won't be getting another Z Fold till they have an embedded S Pen.

I dont want to reset lol, because I have so much setup like authentication and applications that's why I dont want to replace my phone but because of the missed calls its become a problem. I've missed several business calls because of the battery deterioration problem, also my apps like outlook are becoming very slow and unresponsive. Its really annoying

I have the Fold4... If Google's fold is at least as tall and wider than the Fold, I'm switching. The narrowness of the Fold is frustrating. The crease isn't a big deal at all. (You only see it if looking at the screen from an angle, which never happens).

I was getting so bored with the iPhone that I made the switch to the Fold 5, and I'm really impressed. For those on iOS, trust me, Android and iOS are quite similar. I experienced the Fold on version 5.1 with One UI 6, and there's a significant difference. So, perform the latest software upgrade, and you'll enjoy it even more.
Cover display need to be a little wider. Im using the fold 4 right now and the outer screen is complete garbage for texting

These are all incremental changes. Even if you added all of these to the fold 4, it would not be a big upgrade. Plus, the new Samsung Z fold 5 is pretty much the same as the last model.
Samsung needs to make the front screen a bit wider. The current aspect ratio sucks. Most apps don't support it.

Better off saying "reduced" rather than "eliminated" crease. Everything I'm seeing still features the prominent crease. Nice iterative update, but we need ultra cameras and a properly stowed s pen slot. Throw in a color matching my Galaxy Book 3 Ultra and I'm game. Yes, Samsung, some of us like to color coordinate. Fold 6 maybe?

When you upgrade to any newer flagship device. I would say the Flip is possibly worth upgrading to due to the larger display, the free upgrade in memory and the smaller improvements that were made. the Fold is too similar to last years model to justify spending $1800
External display needs to become normal size just like every other foldable.

@@ThatOnePriest External is used more often than internal display. Doesn't make sense to keep a weird aspect ratio when you can just make the phone thinner like what Google has done.
Why don't they decrease the height of the fold and make it like other foldables . it'll make the cover screen much more usable and that form factor will surely make sense

I played with the fold five in another country last week. Stuck my fold for next to it and you can’t tell the difference. Yeah the screen is brighter if you turn it to full blast but I never turn my past halfway anyway so that was not noticeable. Yes you can see. It’s slightly center at the hinge but only if you put them side-by-side and look at it the outside screen still is too narrow. The cameras are no better than the ones in the four so why would I waste another $2000 upgrading to Name only when there’s no visible difference? Come on Samsung. Give us a real improvement! By the way, I love my Ford 4 and wanted it a reason to upgrade to the Fold 5

I have the z fold 4 I was going to get the Z flip 5, but decided to cancel my order to get the S23 ultra. I will wait a few integrations before I get a flip. I absolutely love my fold, but I wish it had better cameras same with the flip 5.

Elimination of the crease will be the biggest thing... That's the reason why I never even considered the folds
I dont know man. After handling the pixel fold, im not sure id get another fold just because of how narrow the phone is closed. Google did a great job
The real issue is the size when it's open. It's a square and no normal content fits in it properly without huge black bezels on top and bottom or the sides. Just look up videos being played on the z fold😂 there's humongous black area around the video unless you want to zoom in cutting out at least 50% of the picture. Apps mostly work on one side of the phone and allow for two apps to be open simultaneously instead of one huge stretched app that will look horrendous. Or games that go full screen and arnt made for a square screen so your zooming in instead of zooming out with extra background fill and losing out on half the background which is super important in alot of games. Imo the real foldable winner is the z flip. It's a regular phone that flips to half the size to fit in your pocket easier or make sure you don't pocket dial or whatever. But it's not giving you a weird screen which is super important

Yea it will. But to bag the closed aspect ration screen design is super skinny and not as usable as the pixel fold.
I also wait for z fold 6. But considering they have 60% trade in value for 4 to 5 and assuming for 5 to 6. I think it is going to be cheaper instead of going directly from 4 to 6.

No, new hinge and new Processor that is 5% faster is not a huge, big or even small upgrade. It is literally unnoticeable to most

There's all these YT vids going on and on about the iPhone 14. It's like...are you serious?! 2023 has belonged to the Fold 5 since New Year's Day. iPhone was the big deal in 2007. Folks... it's so over. Americans clutch their iPhones but they'll figure out sooner or later, the future belongs to Samsung/Android and that future is here.
I have an iPhone 14 pro and 14 plus and switched to Samsung s23 and I must say I'm very impressed I'm trying to get my partner to change to samsung as well🤣🤣 I also still have my iPhone 12 which all my iphones now sit in my drawer

I will NEVER buy a fold from Samsung. My fold 3, one month after warranty, developed a thick black line down the middle of the main screen. It was nevered dropped, and 70% of use was on the front screen. Samsung didn't give a sh_t!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
That’s why ppl stay with Apple, i used airpods pro for 2 years, developed a fuzz in sound sent in got new ones, like who does that?
@@bard3405Apple will rip you off too! I Brought my iPhone 7 there because it was no longer turning on. They ran the diagnostic and it came back ‘too many issues, not repairable’ … they proceeded to try sell me a new phone so I left. Took it to a repair shop and 20 minutes later, it was back working. All it needed was a new battery. $47 is what it cost me. A year later it is still working like new! Apple will try to rip you off if they can!
