The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Don't forget, it's a journey. You will learn many of life's lessons along the way. Enjoy it!
Waiting for your next video, looking forward to see this jeep back on the road. Hope your doing fine and finish this project! Love your work. By watching this i'm getting pumped to start on my cj5
Great video Nick. Mine has turned into quite the project. I got a 'rebuildable' tub but turns out it needs about 70% of its sheetmetal replaced. I ended up purchasing every available panel, the large majority from Classic Enterprises and I'm gonna use my tub as a template and build my own reproduction tub. A rather daunting endeavor but after talking with Mark at Classic, completely doable.
Oh my goodness! I'm sorry to hear the tub needed more work than you originally thought. Lots of rust holes? Floor plans and the bed? Good luck on the tub rebuild! I'm curious to hear how it turns out. If you need any measurements or anything from mine let me know!
@@NickDowner Thanks, I knew it needed a cowl, some firewall work, and side panel work. Once the rollbar was out more damage was evident on floor pans and rear riser. Basically the only good parts were the rear deck/floor and underbody supports. So I ordered everything new and decided to build a tub. Should be as good as a reproduction with much higher quality parts. Fortunately, I have the old tub and a old frame to use to make sure everything lines up and measurements are on as well as for reference.
Thank you for sticking with it! Another great video! I definitely will work more with the hammers if need be. I know I need some practice with the welder and will be doing some patches for sure. Great instructions! The need to do a lot at one time will be hard to overcome and take baby steps with it. Thanks again and stay safe and healthy!

Just like a good series on TV when, it starts getting good, they canceled the series. 😂😂
Would've been cool to see the finished product! Given the lack subs and veiws something tells me the motivation just dissipated!

Waardeloos.
😮
I think I would have taken a hammer after the deepest one just so there wouldn't be so much filler, but that's just me
Yeah that definitely would have been the best move. Work it out a bit. That's what I'll be trying to do with my wonky front fenders :)
Give up on this man?
