My MASSIVE Tesla security bug! - Proximity Unlock Risk!
Hello, love the vid, I as well watch gearbox! What t176 rebuild kit did u use? Thank you.
Hello, great vid! My question is , how did u get enough space on second bearing to slip the splitter behind? Ive had to as well custom part my splitter together! lol! Thank you.
How is it holding up?
Hey Nick when do you think you will get back at making your amazing videos on restoring the jeep and the mustang.. 🤷
Did the wheel spacers help in the front? I’m ordering 2” for my 67. I decided to Put 33x12r15 and they rub the leafs. Hopefully 2” is enough to clear
They did! I'm still running them today.
This may sound strange, but thanks! As a new Jeep owner of an 83 CJ5 I now know where my reverse light switch is located😀 I'm learning as I go but I know it will never be a Rock Crawler with its AMC 20, split axle so I'm happy getting through mud and snow. Thanks for your video!
hey nick, any good rack for sedan so i can carry a powerwheel toy, its approximately 60lbs and maybe a big as your red the one you hang up lol
Just like a good series on TV when, it starts getting good, they canceled the series. 😂😂
Very good job with that tailgate.
Wish I had a neighbor like you.
This guys does a really good job with his videos and instruction. I hope everything is okay with him. Does anyone know?
About 1 min in i had to pause and get me a latte then 1/2 way through your music made my thumb go in my butt like pop goes the weezl
Top of the line video! 5 out of 5. maybe 6.
I was avoiting your video, but this time it help me
I’m shocked that you didn’t tear down the rear and inspect. Also, I’m concerned about that cotter pin. I hope you went back and fixed it. Not meaning to be critical. I just found this video series and really enjoying it.
Came here to say the same thing. 👍
Would've been cool to see the finished product! Given the lack subs and veiws something tells me the motivation just dissipated!
Soymouth isn't a good thumbnail.
I’m doing the same panel painting on my 68 Fastback. do you happen to have an order of re assembly of all the rear panels and trim as i’m trying to avoid putting them on in the wrong order. TY
Good video. Thanks. I think the most important thing I watch in your video is you are using a mask to avoid the dust wich is very dangerous. I am going to paint by myself my old 1977 Cj5
Does this have any impact on the batteries by any chance?
You’re the one responsible for the price gouging of old jeeps. Ahh. 😁
Any updates?
Nick, Great Video, But the music wasn't. I wanted to hear your comments through the rebuild. but the music was a little too much for me. Thanks for sharing, I have the same trans. and for some reason the forks wont move. They did a few days ago. and the trans is on the bench with the top cover off..
The carpet was easy. Ford really used to put good chrome on interior peices
How far did you install the mainshft bearings ? Just past the snap ring grooves on the shaft? They dont look like they bottom out on anything.
Excelente
Picked up a 1977 CJ5, found your series and saving for sure! Hope to see you pick back up on this project soon!
whens the next ep. coming out?
3k is a steal for that cj.
Finally someone showing some work done on the old solid back panel. Thank you!
you don’t need loctite on the wheel stud splines, it does nothing. nice job!
I'm doing a jeep put a 2 or 3 ft straight edge on and check it.after you throw body filler use a long straight edge for the finish.
You need that. Did you just throw the body filler. What ever stuck you went with it. Use a glove spread it a lot better
This is a perfect example of the order of operations for a "restoration" when you don't have a bunch of money to burn: Mechanical, Interior THEN exterior. Get it driveable first, then get the interior setup where you like it. That's when you can put waaaay too much money into paint!
Great job. Love the video.
Wow the stang is beautiful!
Miss seeing your videos brother. So want to see the jeep done!
Very nice Jeep sir
I wish I'd found this a year ago! I'm rebuilding a 65 Fastback, and your #1 lesson learned really hit home. I also took mine to a shop because of how daunting the quarter panel replacement is. After seeing how much work is needed for every piece of new sheet metal, I'm glad I took it to a pro! Thanks for sharing your journey.
LIZARD SKIN AND DYNAMAT WILL REDUCE THE CARS VALUE. HELP ZERO WITH MODIFIED EXAUST.
Hi Nick, I have the same issue with the rust forming between the two panels on the fenders...what did you do to fix it on your CJ? TIA
Watching from Brazil.
Do you have the video of you installing it?
Its funny how this popped on my feed when its exactly what i need. Itd be nice if you list part numbers as well.
😮
Someone’s having fun . That’s what is all about. Dude you forgot the barbecue
Nice
What year Jeep, as I had one very much like that one with a solid tailgate .1976 CJ5 black Baja Bucket Seats 305 V8, 305. I sold it to a Detroit Lions player .
