I have a 1978 CJ5 I have been restoring. One thing I struggled with was putting the skid plate back on… seems easy but it was actually very difficult! When I went to line the holes up on the skid plate it was like my skid plate was too big and had bowed outwards. Apparently it’s a common problem. If you run into this problem in the future, I used a couple of ratchet straps around the skid plate after I had one side in and pulled the skid plate back together in order for the holes to line back up! Hope yours fits but if not hopefully that saves you a little time and head ache!! Love the videos! Keep them coming!!!
HI , the way you have the brake line mounted on your rear brakes is not going to work . it needs to be solid mounted to the frame .and use a longer flex brake line . same for the two in the front .
Yeah funny you mention that, someone just told me the same thing in person after watching the video. I ordered up the bracket so hopefully I'll get it mounted correctly soon. Thanks for the heads up! I'm learning new things all of the time and really appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching!
I'm deep into the transmission rebuild now... should be a fun video next 😀 Thanks for watching and supporting the channel everyone!

Oh great pro tip! Thank you so much! I'm sure this will come in handy when I'm mounting up the skid plate. Thanks for watching Richard!
