Your videos are great, gave me the nudge to book my first day ticket on the Tweed last Autumn at Ashiestiel following one of your previous videos and I landed a lovely 20lb fish for my first Tweed Salmon. Good video again sir the earn was one of my favourite rivers at the start of the season not so much for the salmon but had great runs of sea trout had some great days on it then the salmon from early summer onwards

Another great update. Its tough everywhere at the moment. The wye is still 6' up at the moment and hasnt recorded a fish yet...

Wind you say? Fáilte gu Alba. I've been itching to get out, bought a new rod and everything, but the local river hasn't settled yet, and I'm not going out for the sake of it. The winter storms have ruined a few lies, and until the water clears I can't tell what snags might be hiding there. There have been reports of silver moving, but we are notoriously unreliable witnesses. I did see a HUGE fish the other day though.
