You can even take that a step further by making a section have stepped details, sanding away about half a millimeter of thickness of some area. Chisel away the line where that ends and then sand down until that whole thing meets up again at the same height.
Great tutorial! I have a question for you: Does sanding/priming the pieces before scribing help, or is it better/easier to scribe on bare plastic and clean/prime it afterwards?
Hey there nice guide/tutorial. Btw can i use any kind of tape that is clear? Or just the one in your vid? I only hope i could have one of those tapes. Any tips?
No, scribing tapes are thick to allow the scriber to follow the lines. Alternatively you can use dymo tape but I've found them to slide around this not making clean lines

Yes! Sanding or priming is recommended. Sanding let's you draw easier and you can see your drawing better with dark pieces, priming does the same!
Really great video, thank you so much! It's so funny, I seem to find a new great gunpla channel everyday
great tip 🙂

Tnx for the tip. What about electrical tapes? I think those are thick enough? Any thoughts?
@@rjhiedom3598 Electric tape is still flexible so I would not recommend
