Thanks to your videos, I finally tackled the Industriac Gear Rick Dias resin kit. So far it's going well, but I do have a question about resin shrinkage. How do you fix that? Like if one foot piece is noticeable smaller than the other.

does dishwashing liquid work as well as a degreaser? Or do you need more hardcore chemicals like Oranex or Acetone?

Daban reverse engineers these figures by creating moulds from official Bandai models, so the parts won’t be as precise as the original parts. It’s nothing that a little trimming or filing can’t fix, but at the same time you won’t be getting the same high grade polystyrene used in Bandai kits. Still, it’s unlikely that you’ll be playing around with something this scale anyway. My only concern with Daban models is receiving deformed parts since their quality control isn’t nearly as good as Bandai.
