Very interesting, when you see the time it takes to make just one piece, you can understand the amount of work to make a full model like this Sazabi MG!
I am... My... I....... My mind is blown. This video introduced me to the concept of multi-width and shaped scribing tools, then it exposed me to the concept of plaplate, THEN it showed me that you can scribe ONTO the plaplate... Basically, this video just changed my life forever. Thank you. There is a whole entire new world of being able to draw on the surface of your gundams that has just dawned on me for the first time. Amazing.
I really like this format of video. Really easy to follow and very informative! Thanks for sharing this. As someone who just started Gunpla and finally looking into scribing my own lines, this has been extremely helpful. Thank you!
This was prob the best tutorial I've seen yet on this. Thanks for explaining the difference between practical panel lines and aesthetic ones. Camera angle was actually good and you worked at a slow pace so people what you were doing. I would like to see more about tips about how to really come up with good ideas for line placement as a beginner. I don't know if that's hard to do since a lot of it probably comes with practicing and trial and error, but what types of things can beginners study or look at to get a good sense of where to add the lines?
baru start painting 2 kit since last 2 months. scribing ni takut takut sikit nak buat. thansk for the video! really helpful untuk next kit yang bakal jadi bahan experiment hehe.
Awesome! I'm new to this and it was great to see the workflow and the different approaches you can take. I'm definitely inspired to try these techniques later on today. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for taking time by showing your way of how to make modeling skills go to another level of being able to truly set one’s own model apart from not only its base aesthetic but from that of anyone else’s. I enjoyed it and hope you have time to show more techniques in the future.
I see most RUclipsrs doing guides on bigger pieces. I would personally would like to see how you tackle smaller pieces like HG shin guards or shoulder for example :) Good guide tho!
Nice tutorial! I actually didn’t thought about adding a scribe line after glueing the pla plate. Looking forward for more tutorial! Great job! P/s: would love to see the before and after image too in the video for comparison. Also for inspiration lol
This is absoltuely fantastic, could you do an intro to changing proportions as well? i love your work and find it quite inspiring to watch but having it explained better would be fantastic
Great video! Would be nice if every once in awhile you go into details about your technique. Like why scribing techniques pulling vs pushing, or how to make large panel lines look even. Or cover details on how you lay down pla plate so gaps don't show or any tips of the trade on handling pla plate. Don't think you have to cover everything, but just 1 or 2 tips a video would be nice.
👍🏻 First..the sazabi side skirt is so cool. Two is I new start from HG and I really wanna make custom for my gunpla.Your video makes me Exciting for do a custom panel lining and is Helps me👍🏻👍🏻💐💐
Great tutorial. How is your process for duplicating the details on the other part to make sure it's symmetrically the same? More power to your channel. 👍😊
Awesome tutorial video. Really good and interesting, beneficial for beginners like me. Provides a better appreciation of your hard work and efforts behind the scene. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Looking forward for more of such tutorials.
dude, you've just got 1 new subscriber. very clear tutorial. looking forward to another tutorial. can you give some advice regarding painting using airbrush?
Late to the gunpla hobby, but I do have a request. Can you do a video where you show your method to duplicate onto the symmetrical piece on the kit? The detail on the one piece in this video is extraordinary, but how do you precisely copy it onto the matching piece?
ive been doing kits for several years now and this kind of stuff never crossed my mind besides making the lines on the kit stand out. i never though to add my own lines or details like this. I feel like such an amateur but i hope i can learn some of this stuff.
Great tutorial, thanks for uploading! I'd love to see more advance techniques too like how at 1:21 there is that panel on the forearm that looks like it's added and on at separate angle or plane that overlaps the rest of the forearm. Or tips on getting mirrored symmetry! :) I free handed it and it's not quite perfect and noticeable to me.
Hello from Italy!!! Nice tutorial video. I just started with Gunpla (I admit I bought one to practice with the airbrush but now I'm hooked) and it's very difficult to get it going here, I had to look for ages just to get a scribe tape guide. I have a question, how do you choose the width of the chisel? What is your mental process that tells you "here I want a thin line, here I want a thicker one?" Also, it looks like 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5 are the most used sizes, is it correct?
Perfect timing. Literally added How To videos for scribing and pla plate last night... How do you make it more unform and matching? Just using different sized tools?
