Just found you as I was searching for how to set up the M3 for slug accuracy. Loving the details of adjustments and when you went through your gun load out. Can’t wait for more M3 slug experiments and other M3 videos. Cheers
You are a sporting gentlemen and a great ambassador for your country; it's a great shame politics get in the way. Hopefully, things will get better, and we can see you back on the international stage.
Thank you for the time you take to share your testing and adjustments. I don't bench rest other than to zero. Most shooting is in the woods off hand. But your advice still helps mich.
I’m so excited to watch this that I had to make a comment before I even start. The questions to be answered are EXACTLY what I’ve wanted answered. Now on to the show 😉
Greetings from Lebanon , great informative video as usual, i got a question what you recommend the 2nd reg pressure to be if shooting 33 grain slugs, note i have same setup as yours plus a slug power kit , and good luck for you in your competition 👍🏼
Great presentation. If I understood right your 2nd reg is set over 170Bar. Will this not damage the gun? In the manual it is mentioned not to go over 170bar.
Hello, when hearing you mention '3 bar' I ve been wondering how you are reading this ? Not from the classic gauges on the Impact i presume ? Thx for your answer. You are an example to many. Len.
Thank you for sharing your tuning setup. Just a question, in your best setup of impact m3, what is your 1st stage regulator pressure and 2nd stage regulator pressure? I just want to compare it with your setup. Thank you again
Rusbear not always true because some pellets/slugs that are heavier have worse performance out at range and in wind. If the BC isn’t high it will not do as good regardless of how heavy it may be. Now speed and higher bc will win out over weight every time. The less time in the air the less it can be effected. The diameter also plays into this as well because a .30 cal pellet weighing 50 grains will move just as much as a 33 grain .22. The .22 33 grain has a higher bc and moving faster will get to the target faster and therefore is less effected by wind. So overall it’s a balance between weight, speed and diameter. Too much of one or the other can cause problems.
Maybe in most situations but if you don’t have the speed to push heavier slugs then it will naturally have lower bc than a lighter slug that’s moving faster.
I have impact m3 power block 700mm barrell In .22 cal And i want to shot jsb redesigned 25gr. What is the best tune for it please! I want to shoot it in 150yards

Hello. Every gun, barrel, slug had unique setup. The only way is to try and search the best one.
Wow, you're amazing my respect you have to go utah

Right, I use Sekhmet digital gauges

The first is open, the second is 177bar
Hi Rusbear. great shooting. Why do you choose slugs with so much weight? with 24 or 31 gr you don't have good results? thanks
Lightweight slugs are much more sensitive to the wind when you shoot long range like 150 yards and more
@@RusBearRB OK Thanks.

JSB Monster Redesigned is not the best solution for 150 yards. You'd better use slugs
Perfeito, você acha que o tensionador melhorou o armonico do cano
У меня нет однозначного ответа на этот вопрос, если честно. Я настраивал винтовки на отличную кучность как с натяжителем ствола, так и без него.
Obrigado por responder @@RusBearRB
Isn't 280m/s a little slow for slugs?
It depends on slugs, their shape and a barrel you use. My favourite slugs shoots perfect on 275 m/s for example
👍

I would like more detail. Not shure what you mean. But I am interrested in what you can do ..
